Actor Varun Sharma, who shares screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in "Dilwale", says the superstar's 1993 blockbuster "Baazigar" sowed the seeds of acting in him. "The seed of acting got into me because of 'Baazigar'. My mother knows that very well. She was emotional when she got to know that I am sharing screen space with the man who inspires me (Shah Rukh) and whom I respect as an idol. It's a great feeling for any mother," Varun told. The "Fukrey" actor said he made his mother proud after landing the role in "Dilwale". "When I got the confirmation, I told her that I got an offer working in Rohit Shetty's film along with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Varun Dhawan. And there was a two-minute silence. I knew there were so many things going on in her mind that time. I took her blessings. I think I made her a little bit proud," he added. The 24-year-old, whose character Chucha in "Fukrey" garnered popularity among cinegoers, says wherever he goes, people still call him by that name. "My focus is always on making an impression on the audience's mind in whatever role I do. It satisfies both me as an actor and those who are watching me as well," he said. "Chucha in 'Fukrey' made such a mark on people's minds that even now when I go out they call me first by that name then greet me as Varun. For any actor to be called by his character name is his biggest victory. And now I hope it changes with 'Dilwale'," he added. Directed by Rohit Shetty "Dilwale" also stars Kajol, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Boman Irani, Johnny Lever among others. The film is releasing on December 18.

When Shah Rukh Khan got furious with Kajol on the sets of ‘Baazigar’
It goes without saying that Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol will remain one of the most loved and popular pairs in Hindi cinema. Right from 'Baazigar' to 'Dilwale', their amazing chemistry is for everyone to see. Shah Rukh has even gone on record saying that he misses Kajol in every movie. He also praised the actress for making so many sacrifices to make a go of her career. An interesting story which not many people know concerns the thinly-veiled animosity between Shah Rukh and Kajol when they first came together on the sets of 'Baazigar.' When Aamir Khan asked Shah Rukh about Kajol as he wanted to work with her, Shah Rukh had nothing good to say about her advising Aamir not to even touch her with a barge-pole. However, Shah Rukh was soon under no illusions --- he got the measure of her and wanted to convey the fact to Aamir that she is magical on screen. Kajol recalls how Shah Rukh would get furious over the former's constant jabbering in Marathi on the sets of 'Baazigar' and asked her to 'shut up'. That is how, according to Kajol, they became friends. Even today, Shah Rukh says that even now he has to tell Kajol to 'shut up.' Not only that, the actor sees Kajol as an inspiration for his daughter, Suhana.
