Baby Shamili, who wowed audiences with her superlative performance in the Mani Rathnam directed 'Anjali' as a mentally challenged child, seemed to defy the rule. Sister of Shalini Ajithkumar and Richard, this pretty young girl was approached by many directors to play the heroine in their flicks. However, their efforts turned futile. Now, a debut director in Telugu, Anand Ranga has managed to rope in Shamili as the heroine for his film which has Siddarth playing the hero. Anand Ranga, who has worked as an associate for the blockbuster hit 'Bommarillu', is said to have impressed Shamili with the story. This made Shamili to sign on the dotted line. The film, which is touted to start rolling in the first week of October, is being produced by DVV Danayya under the banner Universal Media. Kollywood's loss, Tollywood's gain!
Baby boy for Prashanth
Prashanth's wife Grihalakshmi delivered a baby boy at a private hospital in Chennai on Wednesday. Both the child and the mom are safe, said sources in the hospital. Prashanth is currently busy shooting abroad. It may be recalled that Prashanth married Grihalakshmi last year. Prashanth's family members distributed sweets in the hospital.

Baby Boy For Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao
Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao have been blessed with a baby boy, born through IVF to a surrogate mother on Dec 1 at a private clinic here. "Due to medical complications, we were advised to go for IVF-Surrogacy. We are absolutely delighted. This baby is very dear to us as we've got him after a lot of difficulty. "We are so happy and would like to thank all our well wishers." said Aamir Khan. “It gives us the greatest joy to share with you the good news of the birth of our baby boy. This baby is especially dear to us because he was born to us after a long wait and some difficulty. Due to medical complications, we were advised to have a baby through IVF - surrogacy, and we feel very grateful to the Almighty that all has gone well. “We are humbled by the greatness of God, the miracles of science, and the kindness and love of our families and friends in being there for us while respecting our privacy. We seek your good wishes and blessings for our child,” Aamir and Kiran said in a statement. Aamir already has a daughter and son from his previous marriage to Reena Dutta, whom he divorced after being together for 15 years. The 46-year-old actor met Kiran on the sets of his 2001 hit ‘Lagaan’ and married her after three years. The couple had earlier tried having a baby but Kiran suffered a miscarriage. “Congrats Aamir and Kiran. Lots of love to you and your little baby boy. So so happy for all 3 of you (sic),” director Kunal Kohli tweeted.
Baby Shamili back as heroine
Actress Baby Shamili is reportedly gearing up to make a comeback to tinsel town as the lead heroine. Her comeback movie will be a Kannada flick which will have actor Sudeep as her leading man. The movie is being directed by K.S. Ravikumar, whose previous movie was the Rajnikanth starrer 'Linga'. Shamili had debuted in cinema as a child artiste, her role as Mamatikuttyamma, capturing hearts. She had acted as the leading lady in a movie, but stepped back soon after. Hopefully her second innings will be a long one.
