Exclusive synopsis - BACHNA AE HASEENO
Why do girls always fall for the wrong guy? Their mothers warn them about him. Their friends shake their heads disapprovingly. Their minds tell them to escape while the going is good. But no! oh no! Their hearts are another story. You see, they are sending all the wrong signals. His name alone is enough to scramble their brains and set their hearts racing. Meet Raj. He is the stuff of dreams, with the looks of a 'butter wouldn't melt in my mouth' good boy. Who can blame him for falling in love as many times as love is fortunate enough to find him. It's not his fault that he's a heartbreaker, it's in his DNA. Come discover his three love stories; Raj and Mahi, Raj and Radhika, Raj and Gayatri. Different ladyloves at different times in his life. And each of them, teach him a little bit about love and a little bit about life, in their own sweet, sexy or sassy way. Come fall in love... three times. Character Briefs RAJ (Ranbir Kapoor) The accidental lover. Easy, boyish charm is something no guy can cultivate. You have to be born with it. Like Raj. He's not your regular boy next door though he has a misleading quality; his 'butter wouldn't melt in my mouth' good boy charm. Couple this with a sense of humour and an unintentional sex appeal and you have a package that is lethal in its irresistibility. So, really, you can't blame the poor boy for the effect he has on women. At the same time he's not really complaining. MAHI (Minissha Lamba) Sweet, romantic, innocent Mahi. She believes that the world is her oyster. So what, if it was limited just to Amritsar most of her life. That doesn't stop the universe from conspiring to make all her wishes come true. Her life is made of stuff rarely found outside of a Hallmark card. She is a happy child. The chosen one. She truly believes that nothing bad will ever happen to her. Her path will be decked by rainbows and strewn with flowers. That's where she walks, humming a happy song, with a Mills & Boon in one hand and her one true love holding the other. RADHIKA (Bipasha Basu) The gorgeous one. She's a sexy and confident girl. Lives in Mumbai, on her own terms. In her own flat. She is a dancer with Shiamak, and has the ambitions to shine on the silver screen. She is a girl of today. She doesn't feel any false modesty when it comes to showing her feelings for the opposite sex. She shrugs away all the old fashioned rules set by society, as she believes in doing what makes her happy. As long as, it doesn't compromise with the happiness of her lover. GAYATRI (Deepika Padukone) She is like any of the other girls who move to another country to study and to eventually make it big. And yet, she's unlike any other girl. She's smart and she's sassy. She's beautiful and she's ambitious. She knows what she wants and she knows how to get it. Life can be tough for a girl living alone in a strange land. But Gayatri is fearless. Her already beautiful eyes sparkle when faced with challenge. Nothing will stop this girl from achieving what she wants from life. Or from love.
What if Katrina was a part of BACHNA AE HASEENO?
Katrina is on a career high. Presently she is shooting in Philadelphia in the US for the Yashraj film with John Abraham and Neil Mukesh, directed by Kabir Khan. Sources reveal that though 'Singh is King' is huge hit, instead of celebrating the success back home, she is shooting non-stop for 18 hours at a stretch. Meanwhile she has been getting a deluge of complimentary calls for the double hat trick in her career. Industry folks compliment her on her dedication, hard work and professionalism. Industry sources also say that if Katrina would have been in Bachna Ae Haseeno, the film would have got a bigger opening, since she is considered as a lucky mascot in the trade circles. Incidentally Katrina was supposed to be in the film, but since the film would have got longer, the producer felt that it would not do justice to her. Yashraj then signed her for the film with John and Neil Mukesh, directed by Kabir Khan, in a role which will have huge scope to perform. In fact keeping with her stature at the box office, she is touted as the highlight of the film. With 6 hits in a row, and a promising 'Yuvraaj' later this year, Katrina is truly on a roll !!

Ajith and Amitabh Bachan together again for Atlee?
The past week there were unconfirmed reports doing the rounds in Kollywood that Atlee the director of Vijay’s blockbuster movie ‘Theri’ is going to helm ‘Thala 58’. Now further reports from the same quarters hint that Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachan is going to produce ‘Thala 58’. Amitabh is now keen on making a comeback as a producer and is keen to make a big bang in the South with who else but Ajith, the King of the Box Office.
Pakistan attack: Vigils held for Bacha Khan University dead
Vigils have been held in Peshawar and elsewhere in Pakistan for at least 21 people killed in a university attack. Four suspected attackers also died in Wednesday's assault on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda. Military spokesman Lt Gen Asim Bajwa told reporters that major breakthroughs had been made in identifying the attackers but did not name them. One Pakistani Taliban commander claimed responsibility for the assault, but its main spokesman denied this. The group killed 130 students at a school in Peshawar in 2014. Early on Wednesday, gunmen entered Bacha Khan University in Charsadda, 50km (30 miles) from Peshawar, and opened fire on students and faculty as they gathered for a poetry event. Those killed were a professor, two gardeners, one caretaker and 17 students, according to Pir Shahab, superintendent of investigations, who spoke to AFP news agency. Most of the victims were shot dead at a hostel for male students. The attack sparked widespread outrage in the country and candlelight vigils were held for the victims in the southwestern city of Quetta. Dozens of people protested in Karachi. Authorities say they have gathered information from the mobile phones of the attackers about where they came from and who sent them. "The terrorists were continuously conversing on their mobile phones, two of which we have recovered," Lt Gen Bajwa said. But he said the information was "sensitive" and would be shared with the public later, according to Dawn newspaper. BBC Urdu's Asad Ali Chaudry says there is a symbolic value attached to Bacha Khan University, as it is named after a Pashtun nationalist leader who believed in non-violent struggle. The title of Wednesday's poetry programme in his honour was "peace", he adds. Just days ago, some schools in Peshawar were closed by the authorities amid reports that militants were planning an attack.
