Amitabh Bachchan has contributed quite a bit to Indian cinema. Now the actor wants to do his bit for spreading education in India. The actor plans to open a school for girls in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The school in the Daulatpur village of Uttar Pradesh will bear Aishwariya's name. After the Allahabad High court gave a clean chit to Bachchan in the allotment of the land in the Daulatpur village land dispute, Big B bought another piece of land adjoining the plot in dispute and offered to donate it for building a school for girls. Amitabh has been in constant discussions with Amar Singh to build a school for girls in a state with one of the lowest literary rates. The foundation brick of the school will be laid shortly by Ash in a few months from now .Anil Ambani of the Reliance group will also be involved in this project.
Saas and Bahu get a new stage to fight
The stage is set to extract the most thrilling moments of real life hostility between the Indian saas and Bahu. From time we could remember, the rivalry between these two have been exploited to the core in many serials. This time the serials take a backseat and saas and her son's wife gets on the reality show bandwagon. Swastik Pictures is presenting. SAAS V/S BAHU- Kaun Kisko Nachyega In this new show the numerous famous small screen sasses and bahu's who have been entertaining the thousands of serial lovers will try to outdo each other utilizing their dancing skills. 15 onscreen mothers-in-law will compete with 15 daughters-in-law on the dance floor. The dance performances will be interspersed with skits from reel as well as real life situations. Termed as the ultimate battle between the two sections of women, the show will be beamed five times a week for eleven weeks through superbly choreographed dances. Three members from both the teams will fight it out opposite each other during one week in theme-based solo, duet and triplet performances. The participants can also call one of their onscreen family members for support and also perform on their behalf. The family help indulges in a solo performance and then, a duet performance with the saas/bahu. The points from this are added to the team's total tally. The lowest scoring team will be shown the exit door at the end of the week. The subsequent week will see another six which constitutes three saases and three bahus competing to get into the next stage. This will continue for three weeks till five winning teams will be the only ones remaining. Then the quarterfinal starts. Three teams will come out as the winning semi-finalists. One wild-card entry team will join the three teams. Semi finals will last for two weeks through which the ultimate two teams will emerge. These two teams will compete in the grand finale. The show will be judged by two very qualified and seasoned performers. Aruna Irani, the famous actress who has given many popular reel performances as the saas as well as bahu is one of the judges. She was also a superb dancer during her young days and had given competition to the greatest of the item dancers of B-Town- Helen. The other person who will decide the winners is Longi, the dance master of films such as 'Saawariya' and 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa'. He is having the twin responsibility as the choreographer of the show too. The competition has a dual-marking system. The judges as well as the studio judges will give their marks. The participants for this new concept among dance competitions are Juhi Parmer, Barka Bisht, Rita Bhaduri, Priya Arya, Komolika Guha, Shilpa Saklani, Jayati Bhatia, Himani Shivpuri, Kittu Gidwani, Rucha Gujral, Kirti Khelkar among others. Serial studs such as Aman Verma, Naman Shaw, Sharad Khelkar, Akshay Anand, Hussain, Manish Goel, Rakesh Paul and Chetan Hansraj too will be seen shaking their bodies so as to increase their relatives' points. Altogether more than 100 celebrities will be seen in the show as relatives and guest who comes to support their respective saas and bahu.
