Balika Vadhu's 'Anandi' Commits Suicide
TV actress Pratyusha Benerjee who played the role of Anandi in Balika Vadhu (Chinnari Pellikuturu in Telugu) tele serial has shocked everyone by committing suicide. The 24 year old actress was found hanging to her ceiling in her apartment in Mumbai's suburban residential area Goregaon. Pratyusha was rushed to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital by her family members but declared her dead. No suicide note was found from the flat and the exact cause of the death will be known only after an autopsy is conducted.Reason for the extreme step was not yet known, but she is said to be depression caused due to the failure of love. Banerjee was reportedly facing problems in her relationship with boyfriend. Pratyusha is one of the highest paid actresses. Apart from TV serial Pratyisha also contrested in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 and she was one of the participants of Bigg Boss 7. Pratyusha was earlier in news when filed an FIR against her boyfriend Makrand Malhotra. In recent times many TV artists ending their lives forcibly and Pratyusha is third noted personality from Television field that has succumbed to suicide. Entire TV industry has been in shock as soon as the news broke out.
