More news →‘Manmadha Banam’, a romantic comedy entertainer
Kamal Haasan, Trisha starrer ‘Manmadha Banam’ is one of the huge budgeted romantic comedy flicks of South. Titled Manmadhan Ambu in Tamil, the film is being dubbed into Telugu and the audio of the film is all set for its launch on 13th December at Taj Banjara. Kamal Haasan, Trisha and Madhavan and other cast and crew of this project will grace at the audio function. ‘Manmadha Banam’ is directed by KS Ravi Kumar produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin. Lakshmi Ganapathi Films has bagged the rights of the Telugu version. Energetic music director, Devi Sri Prasad has rendered the tunes for the film. ‘Manmadha Banam’ is slated for a release on December 23rd simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu versions.
Allari Naresh's next Intlo Deyyam Nakem Bayam?
Hero Allari Naresh - Director G.Nageswara Reddy's successful combination delivered wholesome entertainers like 'Seema Sastry' and 'Seema Tapakaay'. Now they are joining with B.V.S.N Prasad who produced blockbusters like 'Atharintiki Daaredi' and 'Nannaku Prematho' for another hilarious entertainer titled, 'Intlo Deyyam-Naakem Bhayam'. Under the presentation of Bhogavalli Baapineedu, B.V.S.N Prasad is producing this film in his banner Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra LLP. On the eve of Hero Allari Naresh's birthday on june 30th, producer B.V.S.N Prasad shared details of the film. He says, "Film is undergoing continuous shooting from june 23. When director Nageswara Reddy narrated the script of 'Intlo Deyyam-Naakem Bhayam', we liked the idea and felt that this definitely will become a good entertainer.This is a family entertainer with right mix of horror.We are planning to release the film as a dussehra gift to audience". Speaking about the film Director Nageswara Reddy says, "I am very happy that I got an offer to do a film in Chatrapathi Prasad sir's banner who usually makes big budgeted films.I am very confident that after 'Seema Sastry' and 'Seema Tapakaay' this will be hat-trick film for me with Allari Naresh" Along with Allari Naresh and Kruthika, main cast includes Rajendra Prasad, Posani Krishna Murali, Chalapathy Rao, Srinivas Reddy, Shakalaka Shankar and 20 other artists. Banaras for Indian Panorama at IFFI
Urmila Matondkar's 'Banaras A Mystic Love Story' will be screened at Indian Panorama section of the forthcoming International Film Festival of India (IFFI) to be held this month in Goa. Directed by Pankuj Parashar, the film is a love story and revolves around Benaras, the oldest living city and the spiritual capitol of the world. The film features Urmila Matondkar, Ashmit Patel, Naseeruddin Shah, Raj Babbar, Dimple Kapadia, Akash Khurana and others. Other credits include music by Himesh Reshammiya, lyrics by Sameer, cinematography by Nirav Shah, art by Nitish Roy, story by L.C.Singh, screenplay by L.C.Singh and Javed Siddiqui, dialogue by Javed Siddiqui and choreography by Saroj Khan.
Banana Bhairavi shivers for a cause
A few days ago, Anupam Kher took Bheja Fry girl Bhairavi Goswami on a holiday to London! No, that's not a scoop! They are not having an affair but the two were shooting for Karan Razdan's film 'Mr. Bhatti on Chutti'. And since at this time of the year, Northern England is rather cold and freezing, Bhairavi asked the designer for leather pants, boots and fur-lined denim and leather jackets. Imagine her shock when the designer said Karan had vetoed all her requests. Being an animal lover he absolutely refused to allow any leather or fur. So Bhairavi shivered as some animal in the world lived on' Incidentally, just some weeks ago, Bhairavi had made the airport security go bananas. The lady has a unique way of keeping her energy levels up throughout her long hours and gruelling schedules (she's been shooting simultaneously for three films nowadays): she eats imported golden bananas that you get in only a few stores keeping foreign eatables. She even carries her golden bananas out of town. Recently, she was spotted chomping on them at the airport. Sometime later, doubting security guards were surprised to find a lot of bananas in her purse (some Bheja Fry for them!) and they asked her to eat one in front of them, before they let her pass the security check!

'Balam' - Life is one big bet
The story of a jobless youth, who uses his skills at winning bets, forms the story of 'Balam', directed by Muralikrishna. Introducing Arvind Vinodh (a known face on Tamil television) and Mumbai model Deepa Chari, the film takes a turn wherein one such 'challenge' affects the protagonist in a big way. Director Muralikrishna who had earlier directed movies like 'Paarvai Onre Pothume', 'Pesatha Kannum Pesum' and 'Thirudiya Idhayathai' is confident and hopeful of 'Balam' run at the box office. Malaysia Vasudevan's son Yugendran debuts as music director with this film. Interestingly Malaysia Vasudevan too debuts with this film as lyricist. The other lyricists in the film include Vivega, Ugendran and Muralikrishna. Filming is going on in Chennai right now.
