'Darwaza Bandh Rakho' on 28th July

The season of comedies fails to die down! While 'Phir Hera Pheri' has done terrific business all over and 'Chup Chup Ke' too has registered decent collections, 'Golmaal' is looking all set to be yet another success in the making. But this is not all as the month of July would see yet another comedy hitting the marquee! The film is Ram Gopal Verma production 'Darwaza Bandh Rakho' that releases on 28th July, the same day as 'Omkara'. A 'thrilling comedy' directed by Chakravarthy, the lead actor of 'Satya', who has also directed 'Durga' and an episode of 'Darna Zaroori Hai' in the past, 'Darwaza Bandh Rakho' is about a kidnapping attempt gone all wrong! The film has four men Aftab Shivdasani, Chunkey Pandey, Zakir Hussain and Snehal Dhabi trying to kidnap Isha Sherwani. But what they don't realize is that in their attempt to do so in a supposedly isolated apartment, they end up encountering 35 uninvited guests. What follows from thereon is a mad-mad comedy of errors! Also starring Manisha Koirala in a brief role, the film has other regular RGV actors like Raju Mavani, Ishrat Ali, Goga Kapoor, Ravi Kale and Jeeva along with Gulshan Grover, Divya Dutta and Smita Jaykar!
