NFDC to hold Film Bazaar in November

Over four days in Goa at the Marriott Resort Film Bazaar presents an international co-production market for feature films and documentaries, a Screenwriters' Lab with renowned international guest mentors, a Business Conclave on industry trends and concerns held in association with Screen International, and many other activities and events. With a vibrant congregation of delegates and invitees from all over the globe bringing their filmmaking and distribution expertise to India along with all the leading Indian filmmakers from all over the country, this is a perfect learning and networking business opportunity for Indian production houses and independent producers from all over the nation. Documentary projects are eligible this year for the co-production market! Registration is now open for project submissions for the Co-production market and the Screenwriters' Lab. Deadlines are September 15th, 2008. Please read regulations carefully and thoroughly. There is an application fee of Rs 1000/- only per submission for Screenwriters' Lab. Applicants may enter more than one project each but will need to fill out separate forms for each submission. All representatives of selected projects will have to register separately for participation in Film Bazaar 2008.

'Maya Bazaar' shoot in brisk progress

Dubbing activities of 'Maya Bazaar' directed by award-winning director Indraganti Mohanakrishna of 'Grahanam'-fame, and jointly produced by B Satyanarayana and Rajkishore with Bhoomika and 'Anand' Raja in the lead are in brisk progress at Prasad Labs. It was planned to release the audio of film on October 10 and the film as a Diwali gift. KM Radhakrishnan provided music for 'Maya Bazaar'.

'Maya Bazaar' audio on Oct. 10

The audio of 'Maya Bazaar' directed by award winning director Indraganti Mohana Krishna and produced by Satyanarayana Rao with Bhoomika and 'Anand' Raja in the lead is most likely to be released on October 10. KM Radhakrishnan, who provided fantastic music for 'Anand' and 'Godavari' tuned the lyrics of the film. The audio release function will have lots of film personalities as guests and it was planned to release the film as a Diwali gift.

'Maya Bazaar' slated for November 23 release

The shooting and other post-production formalities were completed for 'Maya Bazaar' directed by Indraganti Mohana Krishna of 'Grahanam'-fame and produced by Satyanarayana on the banner of Satyam Entertainment with Raja of 'Anand'-fame and Bhoomika in the lead. The producer is planning to release the film on November 23. Raja says, 'I am sure that this film would earn me a good name like 'Anand'. Working with Bhoomika is a pleasure.' Bhoomika says, 'I am very happy that I have got another good opportunity to play a great role in 'Maya Bazaar' after 'Missamma'. The producer says, 'Our film would not defame the old 'Maya Bazaar'. The story has nothing to do with the old classic and we are using only the title. The film revolves round a small girl. KM Radhakrishnan gave melodious tunes to all the lyrics and the audio were already proved a big hit and we are getting a very positive response to it.'

Yogi's Bazaar starts

Yogi's new film 'Bazaar' which is being produced by Darshan Kanaka and directed by Hari has been silently launched and the shooting for the film is being held in different places in Bangalore. One of the major highlights of the film is however the real life mother-son Ambujakshi and Yogi acting as a mother and son in the film also. The film also stars Naveen Krishna, Manju Prabhas, Shivamanju and others in prominent roles. Darshan Kanaka is himself in charge of the cinematography, while B J Bharath is the music director.

Kalaiarasan's China is set in Burma Bazaar

Kalaiarasan's upcoming flick China is set in the streets of Burma Bazaar. The film narrates the story of a boy who struggles to make the ends meet with his store in Burma Bazaar. However, an exciting offer changes his life forever. Directed by Harshavardana, Ritu Varma plays the lead while Ved Shankar is the music director.
