The familiar comedy hero of over 100 films in Kannada Jaggesh plays the role of wanderer in 'Beedhi Basava'. He is a street wanderer and does good things to the people around him in this film. Nikitha of 12 Telugu films who appeared in 'Maharaja' opposite Sudeep a few years ago is playing female lead. The muhurut for this film 'Beedhi Basava' was held on Maha Shivarathri Day at the Doddaganapathi and Basavanna temple in Basavanagudi in Bangalore. The role is similar to 'Banda Nanna Ganda' film for me said Jaggesh addressing the film media. Actor cum writer Mohan has given wonderful dialogues for this film. This has a rural background and there is a shocking surprise in the climax. I am an orphan and innocent youth. One rich person considers me as his son. Thereafter I protect his interest too disclosed Jaggesh. To direct a Jaggesh film it was the long time ambition of director Kodlu Ramakrishna. According to director Kodlu comedy hero Jaggesh is next best to Ananthnag in comedy. He is shooting in 45 days and selected 15 locations to shoot. 'Beedhi Basava' is produced by Bhaktha in the banner of Sri Sai Raghavendra Art Productions has story by Babu, dialogues by Mohan, cinematography by GSV Seetharam, Harikrishna scores the music. Srinivasamurthy, Komal, Doddanna, Avinash, Vaibhavi, Deepa, Jaisheela, Deepa, Sharan, Shobaraj and others are in the cast.
Adam Bedi to be seen in STRINGS
Popular ramp mode Adam Bedi, son of Kabir Bedi, who was last seen in 'Charas' in a miniscule role will be making his comeback as a lead man in 'Strings'. A crossover film, 'Strings' stars Adam Bedi as Warren Hastings, a British youth. His character is persuaded to experience the Mahakumbh at the behest of his email friend, Maya (Sandhya Mridul), a cosmopolitan and Indian urban girl. On the other hand Warren too is interested in understanding the mysticism of India, which is beyond his realms of imagination. This has been nurtured within him by the writings of his grandfather in a personal diary written during his posting in India. A sensitive person, he sets upon a journey to unravel these secrets! The film is directed by Sanjay Jha who made his Bollywood debut with 'Praan Jaaye Par Shaan Na Jaaye'.

It seems Pooja Bedi's love for reality shows is never ending... for she will now be seen as the Celebrity guest encouraging kids on their performances on the upcoming episode of one of the reality Talent show for kids. Pooja Bedi a reality dance show participant herself (Jhalak Dikhlaja), pretty much knows the amount of sweat and toil that goes into a stage performance. On being asked what she loves about reality shows she exclaims, 'The excitement, thrill and adrenalin rush that you experience during a reality show is unmatched to any other form of entertainment. Pooja Bedi's sizzling moves on 'angaar'
For all those who drooled over Pooja Bedi in JO JEETA WAHI SIKANDAR and have not been able to keep their eye away from the screens whenever she has appearsed on the small screen for a talk show on a life style/entertainment channel, there is some good news! She can now be seen doing Salsa for a music video that has just arrived on the small screen. Remixed by DJ Notorious, a relatively new entrant in the world of DJ mixes, the tune to which Pooja dances is none other than ever-popular 'Angaar Theme' that has become a cult classic ever since it was heard first in the early 90s. The theme music belongs to Shahilal Nair directed ANGAAR which starred Jackie Shroff and had used a flute as its base instrument. Ever since then the theme music has been kept alive in pubs, discs and live concerts but it is only now that an entire music video has been created on the tune. Now with Pooja at her sizzling best while demonstrating her Salsa skills with a much younger partner and a well directed video to boost, it is rest assured that 'Angaar theme' would continue to live on!
