The shooting of the film is in brisk progress. This mass entertainer is no less than the earlier films of Vikram and is getting ready with all commercial elements that could attract all classes of audiences. 'Bheema' with mafia in its backdrop

Shooting of 'Bheema' directed by popular Tamil director Lingu Swamy and produced by AM Ratnam on the banner of Sri Surya Movies with National Best Artiste award winner Vikram as hero and Nandi award winner Trisha as heroine was complete. The film reportedly has the backdrop of mafia. Director Linguswamy says, 'The songs choreographed in Switzerland, New Zealand, and the palatial palaces of Madurai Kings would remain a highlight. We wrapped up the shooting recently and the post-production works are in progress. This is the latest film in the combination of Vikram and Trisha after 'Saami'. The film not only has the action, but also different other elements including romance and sentiment. Harris Jayaraj gave fantastic tunes for all the songs.'

Bheemaa: awesome opening

'Bheemaa' has a grand opening all over the world. In Tamilnadu the tickets for two weeks have been booked in almost all theatres. The responses from the audiences are overwhelming and encouraging. This would have made the entire cast and crew of 'Bheemaa' have a sigh of relief, as they taste the success after a long waiting. In Kerala the movie has got a big opening and so is the case with overseas centers. In the USA, for example, the shows for the first week have been booked. Most exciting thing about 'Bheemaa' is that a multiplex in the outskirts of Chennai is having a show for every one hour right from 8.30 AM to 11.30 PM. This is something unprecedented and a clear indication of the supremacy of 'Bheemaa'. So, 'Bheemaa', as expected, has got a thunderous opening. The film is now set to reach new heights.
