50 and still going strong -- Dr D Ramanaidu
It's been 50 years since he has started making films. Still he is a big name in the industry today. Both his sons are well-established as producer and hero and his grandsons are soon to make their debut on the silver screen. Almost 70, Dr Ramanaidu is still going strong making films to grab a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. Having gone to Chennai to become an actor, he met with disappointment, as he couldn't get a break. So, he took to making films and is considered to be the most successful producers in the Indian film industry. Starting with Ramudu-Bheemudu to Thulasi, it has been a 50-year stint for him in the Telugu industry. To mark this rare achievement, a huge function is being organized to felicitate him on November 5.
