Directed by Srikanth Vemulapalli and produced by P Udaykiran on the banner of UK Avenues, 'Black and White' with Rajiv Kanakala and Sindhu Tolani in the lead had completed the shooting and post-production formalities recently. The film is now all set for release in July. Director Srikanth says, 'Rajiv Kanakala is a software engineer while Sindhu Tolani is a fashion designer. After getting married, they dream of a colourful life. However, their married life falls in danger and they face several problems unexpectedly. How, the couple came out of the problems and how Jackie Shroff, who was playing a CBI officer role, helped them to solve their problem is the subject. For the first time, Sindhu Tolani dubbed her voice in Telugu. The re-recording provided by Vijay Kurakula would remain a highlight of the movie. We are planning to release the film in the second week of July.'
'Black and White' audio on August 8
The audio of 'Black and White' directed by Srikanth Vemulapalli, presented by Maitri Films Pvt Ltd and produced by P Uday Shankar on the banner of UK Avenue, with Rajeev Kanakala, Jackie Shroff and Sindhu Tulani in the lead is likely to be launched on August 8. Director says, 'We have completed shooting and post-production formalities recently. An engineer and a fashion designer fall in love and later get married. Though theirs is a love marriage, they get separated due to some unforeseen circumstances. What happened next? Who were responsible for their separation is the basic subject of the film.' Producer says, 'Background score would be a highlight in the film. Vijay Kurakula is known for giving very good background music for films of thriller genre. Now, we are planning to release this background score, which is quite novel through CDs.We are making efforts to release the film in the third week of August.' Ali, Jeeva, Uttej, Raj Bharat, Melkote, CVL Narasimha Rao, Sandesh, Junior relangi, Surekhavani, Ayesha Jaleel, Jenny and others are in the cast. Lyrics are by Vanamali, story, screenplay, dialogues and direction are by Srikanth Vemulapalli.

Post-production works are nearing completion for 'Black and White' directed by Srikanth Vemulapalli, presented by Maitri Films Pvt Ltd and produced by P Udaykiran on the banner of UK Avenue with Rajiv Kanakala, Jackie Shroff and Sindhu Tulani in the lead. Director says, 'Love would be nice when two people fell in love. But how many couples are loving each other after marriage. One such incident takes place between an engineer and a fashion designer. The hero and heroine caught in a problem and a CBI officer saves them and helps them to get out of it.We chose a typical problem in the present day society and giving a good solution to it as well, in an interesting manner.' Producer says, 'We are making efforts to release the film on August 22. We are confident that the film would attract all classes of audiences.' Music is by Vijay Kurakula.
Re-recording to be a highlight in 'Black and White'

New politicians in the block - Rajashekhar and Jeevitha
The inevitable connection between the film fraternity and politics took a giant leap forward with Dr. Rajashekar and wife Jeevitha taking the plunge into active politics. Veerappa Moili, who handles the State Affairs of the Congress Party, started a campaign with a vision to infuse new blood into the party in a bid to strengthen it. This campaign kicked off at the Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad today. Taking this opportunity, film actors Dr.Rajashekar and Jeevitha, known for their interest in entering politics for quite some time, enroled themselves as members of the Ruling Congress party. Speaking to the media on this occasion, the couple said that they chose politics not for Power or Position, but had an innate desire to serve society using this channel. They also made it very clear that their aim is not to oppose any of their acquaintances in the fields of film or politics. A member of the press posed this question to Dr. Rajashekar. "Are you going to contest the elections against Chiranjeevi?" Dr. Rajashekar answered, 'Having joined the Congress Party, he'd execute any role assigned to him in all sincerity. It was not in his hands to decide and will fulfill the party's needs. He might even just promote the party without contesting in elections if necessary".
