Exactly after 115 days screening of golden star Ganesh's 'Aramane' his another film that has created big hype 'Bombaat' a combination of Ganesh, beautiful Ramya, 50 plus films director D.Raejndra Babu, reputed producer Rockline Venkatesh and hugely popular Mano Murthy as music director is hitting the silver screen on this Friday in over 75 theatres in Karnataka. Golden star Ganesh will have a new image in his career from this film 'Bombaat' is the talk of the industry. He plays an intelligent schemer. He is an action hero too in this romantic film. The rabble rousers for Ganesh in this film are Mukesh Rishi, Rahul Dev from Mumbai. Shobaraj, Gurudutt, Avinash, Adilokesh, Vinayaprakash, Shanthala, Manjayya and others are also in the cast. The film has Janardhana Maharshi story, cinematography by Shekar Chandru. M.S.Ramesh has written crispy dialogues keeping in mind the talkative image of Ganesh on screen.
'Bombaat' making good collection
It is a pre independence and pre festival bonanza for the fans of Golden star Ganesh. The action image of Ganesh in 'Bombaat' has been received well. Released in 80 centers and in countries like America, Australia, London, Saudi Arabia, Canada, New Zealand is making a roaring business everywhere. Ganesh film has beaten all the earlier stars record number of shows in a day. According to one calculation 300 shows of 'Bombaat' is screened in a day. The presence of charming actress Ramya the lovely songs, cinematography has kept the esteemed Producer Rockline Venkatesh very happy for his Rs.5 crore investment on 'Bombaat'. The action image given to golden star Ganesh by reputed director D.Rajendra Babu is received very well in the first week. 'Taj Mahal' by debutant Chandru is doing very well. In the last one year the debutant film has not clicked so well in the Kannada cinema industry. Chandru has suddenly become very busy with scores of offers. A film for women folks 'Moggina Monasu' has seen some dip in the collection.
'Budhivantha' bombastic
The collection in the third week of Upendra and five heroines - Pooja Gandhi, Saloni, Brinda, Suman Ranganath and Nathanya - starring 'Budhivantha' has earned Rs.7.5 crores says producer A.Mohan speaking to media persons at Solitaire Hotel on Monday evening at a get together party. Actress Suman Ranganath who was present at the get together party said this has been a good come back for her in Kannada after 10 years stint in Bollywood. Before going to Hindi cinema she had acted in seven Kannada films and had appeared in Telugu and Tamil films too. I am thrilled with the song Chitranna Chitranna'the favorite color rice is also my long time spicy food said Suman Ranganath thanking Upendra the mainstay of the film 'Budhivantha'. Actress Pooja Gandhi received applaud from Suman Ranganath and actor Sridhar for her glamorous presence in the film 'Budhivantha' said she has become a fan of Upendra from this film. Actor Sridhar elaborately outlined the reasons for the success of 'Budhivantha'. Senior actor turned Bharatanatyam exponent Sridhar coming back to commercial film was happy to work with super star Upendra. The excellent feel and every shot getting applaud gave the optimistic feeling of success disclosed Sridhar. This has been a fine moment with two lovely heroines and 'Amrutha Ghalige' hero Sridhar and I am happy for the success said Upendra in his short address.

Golden star Ganesh and ravishing beauty Ramya starring film for noted producer Rockline Venkatesh has been titled as 'Bombaat'. For something wonderful it is complimented as 'Bombaat'. The film shooting is going at Rockline Studio in the direction of senior director D.Rajendra Babu. This is a fun and frolic film with usual Ganesh contents and of course Ramya is there as glamour queen on screen says D.Rajendra Babu who has taken up his 51st film. His 50th directorial venture is starring 'Bindhaas' starring Puneeth Rajakumar and Hansika Motwani for producer Chandrasekhar. The oldies taking up young sensations film is a new development in Kannada off late. The young actors are happy to work with veteran directors because they could learn something which they would not know from young crop of directors.
Bombay Talkies A restaurant in Chennai
Seventh Channel Communications, a production house that had churned out many a successful film has collaborated with Mumbai based Prahlad Group of Hotels. Well this is not for coming up with a film but a restaurant. The restaurant named Bombay Talkies is located on Dr. Radhakrishnan Road in Mylapore. The brand new restaurant was inaugurated by Suhasini Maniratnam (of Madras Talkies) and Kushboo Sundar. The other guests to be part of the occasion were actress Sneha, director Gautham Menon, Singer Unnikrishnan and Director General of Police R. Natraj. Manicam Narayanan of Seventh Channel and Krishnakumar of Prahlad hotels played perfect hosts to the guests. Bombay Talkies will be bringing out delicious food that has a perfect blend of North and South Indian food. Something Chennaites can look forward to.
'Bombay Velvet' failure a 'nightmare' for Anurag Kashyap
The failure of "Bombay Velvet", Anurag Kashyap's most ambitious project starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, still gives him nightmares. Weighed down by the financial burden post the film, he says he has learnt his lesson about making films in a controlled budget. "Money is the biggest nightmare. The more you minimize the cost of the film, it works. I just made an expensive film which is probably the biggest loss-making film in the history of cinema. You cannot understand the nightmare I go through every day knowing about all the money lost," Kashyap said when asked about "Bombay Velvet", on the sidelines of Film Bazaar here. "I will never do that again but it teaches you a lesson and weighs down on you," he added. "Bombay Velvet" was undoubtedly his biggest budget film. The movie is set in the 1960s and is a large screen adaptation of Gyan Prakash's "Mumbai Fables". The story is about a man with big dreams and the extent he is willing to go to be successful. It marked Karan Johar's big acting debut with a villainous role. Kashyap, know for films like "Gangs of Wasseypur" and "Ugly", said that the pressure increases when others express belief in one's dream project. "You take pressure on yourself. It's not that someone comes and puts pressure on you. When people are funding my dream, which is unreasonable to begin with, and just because I have dreamt something to do in ten years, then it is not like others are obliged to do it. "When they buy into your idea and buy into your dream and you go out there, you take on pressure. It is a responsibility and it weighs down heavily on you. The burden of the money lost is going to be there for the longest time," he said.c
