The one thing that you can safely expect in a Nagarjuna film is plenty of style and elan. Both in terms of film'?ÂÂ?s structure and also in individual looks and feel. Nagarjuna'?ÂÂ?s forthcoming movie Boss seems no different. As opposed to his previous Sri Ramadasu, which was out and out a period religious epic, Boss is a modern, trendy subject. And the characters get to saunter in and out in the most stylish of outfits. Nagarjuna, who is something of a style monsieur himself, is turning out in some of the most gorgeous outfits. A stickler for looks and designer labels, Nagarjuna showcases himself in some top-of-the-line suits, and more importantly, some fetching shirts and pants whose cuts are almost Parisian in their bespoke elegance and chic. But it is not Nagarjuna alone who is to dress himself in delight. Nayantra, who appears as his secretary, isn'?ÂÂ?t far behind. Nayantra is to turn up in Satya Paul'?ÂÂ?s designer saris. Now in the designer world of India, Paul is a big name. And Nayantra is to add to luster to her character with his sarees. Make no mistake, Boss will echo with class and elegance.

'Boss' audio released through Aditya Music
The audio of Boss (I Love You) directed by VN Aditya and produced by D Sivaprasada Reddy on the banner of Sri Kamakshi Movies with Nagarjuna, Nayanatra and Poonam Bajwa in the lead was released into the market through Aditya Music in Hyderabad recently. Thespian Akkineni Nageswara Rao unveiled the audiocassettes and handed over the first cassette to noted director K Raghavendra Rao, and the others to popular producer Dr D Ramaidu and Nagarjuna. Speaking on the occasion, Nageswara Rao says, 'I heard the songs while coming to the audio release function. Each song is distinct from the other. In fact I thought of getting down my car and dance to the tunes provided by Kalyan Malik. I don't know anything about the subject of the film. But listening to the music, I came to a conclusion that the film will be a big hit. All the songs are quite melodious and foot tapping. I wish the film a big success and congratulate producer Sivaprasada Reddy for bringing out such a good film.' Dr D Ramanaidu says, 'I wish the audio as well as the film a big success.' Nagarjuna says, 'I don't know how I spent two decades of film career. Moreover, I and Sivaprasada Reddy were friends for all these 20 years. He brought out several good films. I wish we both remain friends for 20 more years. Like how I feel proud for being the son of Nageswara Rao, Kalyani Malik should also be proud for being the brother of Keeravani. I maintain a very good relationship with Keeravani. His brother gave melodious music for this film. I wish we both do many more films together in future. I am very sure that the film will be a big hit. So, I am thanking my entire unit in advance for the success of the film. After completing a blockbuster like 'Sri Ramadasu' I was in a dilemma on what sort of film should I do to maintain the success graph. K Raghavendra Rao suggested me to do a family entertainer and I accepted 'Boss' which will be a 100 per cent family entertainer and it would enthrall all classes of audiences in general and the families in particular. Hemachander who made debut as playback singer through this film will have a bright future. Cinematographer Siva also portrayed me well and he too had a bright future.' Kalyani Malik says, 'I am so lucky that I got a good cooperation from Nagarjuna. Not only giving a free hand to the technician, Nagarjuna had encouraged me in all respects while doing music for this film.' Chandrabose says, 'I penned songs for Nagarjuna's films like 'Nuvvu Vastavani', 'Nenunnanu' and 'Sri Ramadasu'. Again I was able to write five songs in this film. All those songs would not only quite audible, but would make the audiences to debate about the lyrics and their contents.' Another writer Sahiti says, 'I had got an opportunity to pen songs for a good subject.' Poonam, Chintapalli Ramana, Ali, Ashokkumar, Hema, Sunita and others participated in the audio release function.'

Nagarjuna 'Boss' to celebrate birthday at Annapurna
Born on August 29, 1959 in Chennai Nagarjuna is the son of a veteran thespian and great actor, who is also the recipient of prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke award, Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Nagarjuna completed his studies in Hyderabad Public School and did his graduation in no less than University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, US. After completing his degree, he craved to become a hero and his first film is 'Vikram', remake of a Hindi blockbuster 'Hero' hit the screen on May 23, 1986. None of the audiences then believed that Nagarjuna would become so popular now. After playing hero in two films, he portrayed the role of a tragedy hero in 'Majnu', who sacrifices his love, as he was about to die due to some disease. The film proved a big hit as Nagarjuna gave his best in performing the role. Of course, Nagarjuna had also got a chance to play hero, along with his father ANR for 'Collectorgari Abbayi'. His film 'Akhari Poratam' with Sridevi as his heroine was a big hit which ran for 100 days in 12 centres during those days. Then came one of the best ever movies of Nagarjuna 'Geetanjali', a love story directed by Maniratnam, which is a big musical hit. Introducing Ram Gopal Verma as director, Nagarjuna played the role of a student leader 'Siva' which really changed his entire image. It turned the tables making him a mass hero overnight. After that he married Amala, his co-star in this film. Nagarjuna also played in the Hindi version of 'Shiva' and became popular all through the country. Though Nagarjuna faced several ups and downs for some time, he recouped his strength and proved himself as a mass hero once again with 'Presidentgari Pellam' and 'Hello Brother'. His film 'Ninne Pelladutha' directed by creative director Krishna Vamsi was another big hit in his career. Like his father, Nagarjuna also wanted to prove himself in a devotional flick. He teamed up with K Raghavendra Rao and Bharavi for 'Annamayya', the history of a legendary singer/poet who penned several kritis on Lord Venkateswara. The film received laurels not only from his fans but also critics. Especially his histrionics before the climax reminded the audiences of his father. This film also ran for 100 days in 42 centres. Nagarjuna, though a hero, also turned a producer by reviving his father's banner Annapurna. He produced several successful films on the banner as producer in Tollywood. The entire career of Nagarjuna saw several lean and successful patches. After 'Annamayya' again he shifted back to commercial films and played in several successful films such as 'Nuvvu Vastavani', 'Santosham', 'Manmadhudu', 'Nenunnanu' and 'Mass'. After a long gap, again Nagarjuna portrayed the role of yet another devotee / poet / Singer 'Sri Ramadasu'. This film once again enthralled the audiences very much. Not only normal people, but several religious heads praised the character and the film. Nagarjuna's latest film 'Boss' is almost ready to hit the screen. The audio of 'Boss' is slated for release on September 3, while the film is tentatively planned to be released on September 20. The Telugu film industry as well as the audiences had high expectations on Nagarjuna's 73rd film 'Boss' directed by VN Aditya. Nagarjuna's son Akhil also played in a film 'Sisindri', a film based on the 'Baby's day out' of Hollywood. Nagarjuna's nephew Sumanth also entered the film industry and also proved a good hero. With this the third generation in Akkineni Nageswara Rao's family entered the film industry. As for Nagarjuna's hobbies, yoga and swimming are a part of his lifestyle. He also likes scuba diving in Maldives. One more interesting feature in Nagarjuna's lifestyle is that he is against working on Sundays as he devotes that day for himself and his family. Nagarjuna's fans are going to celebrate the birthday of their favourite hero on August 29 and a grand party is planned at Annapurna Studios. Musicmazaa wishes many more happy returns to this charismatic hero and wishes the 'Boss' a grand success.
