A fruitful tour of Swara Brahma in 2007
Manisharma is known for his humbleness though he had several chartbusters to his credit. He loves music and feels that his body and mind are tuned for creating good music day and night. "We're seriously talking about going out this year and putting together an amazing show with my great troupe", he told the Telugu websites and few magazines some time ago. He says his troupe singers' route to stardom bypasses a lot of the normal building blocks, but for now they are "self-made" stars. According to Manisharma, 'Music isn't just learning notes and playing them, You learn notes to play to the music of your soul. I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music. Music is your own experience, your own thoughts, your wisdom. There's no boundary line to art. Great music is that which penetrates the ear with facility and leaves the memory with difficulty. Magical music never leaves the memory.' Manisharma proved time and again that good teamwork, good sound and excellent local coordination in all cities will prove the tour as a success. He thanked all of his team- Karunya, Mallikarjun, Vinodbabu, Sunitha, Usha, Vijay Lakshmi, Gangadhar, Chiranjeevi, Sai, Sai Karthik, Saagar, Raghava, Chinna, Harikishen, Vani, Ravishankar, Yashwant, Sridevi, Jagadish Prabhala and Srikant Devarakonda for making the tour this year a grand success. He also thanked Ruchi Foods, Chicago for National Promotion of shows and JP Entertainment Group for Publicity, Press releases and other coordination efforts. He personally thanked all cities and local organizers for supporting Devi from Ruchi Foods. In 2007 his tour includes 7 cities Chicago, Washington DC, Dallas, Memphis, Columbus, New Jersey, Detroit, where a large number of music lovers hailing not only from India but also from abroad attended his programme and listened to the songs with rapt attention and time-bound applause. He also performed at the TANA where over 10,000 crowds greeted him and his team with aplomb. TANA never saw such a huge attendance for any music show till date. Incidentally all his shows in seven cities were a great success. In 2006, Manisharma performed with his team the cities Los Angeles, Washington DC, Chicago, Bloomington, Houston, San Francisco.
Can Brahmi Save This Struggling Hero?
After exactly 3 years of gap since the release of his last film, Adda, Sushanth is once again testing his luck with Aatadukundam Raa, which is releasing this Friday amidst aggressive promotions. Despite not having a decent hit with his last three films, Sushanth's Aatadukundam Raa surprisingly completed its pre-release business and got table profits for the producers. However, more than the hero, the primary factor behind Aatadukundam Raa business is none other than the Comedy King Brahmanandam. Brahmi is playing a full-length hilarious role just like his character in Vishnu's super hit Dhee. Trade circles are hoping that Brahmi will regain his form in Aatadukundam Raa and create magic with his comedy just like he did in Dhee. Also, a solid hit like Dhee is highly essential even for Brahmi's slumping career. We will have to see if Brahmi can keep everyone's trust and give Sushanth his much needed hit and bail him out from his flop streak this Friday. Apart from Brahmi and the impressively cut trailer, the cameos of Akkineni brothers and Aatadukundam Raa's director G Nageswara Reddy's successful track record too are giving a wee bit of hope for a solid success.
Shruti Haasan, Brahmi does Gangnam style
It is known that Shruti Haasan is doing the leading lady role in Balupu alongside Ravi Teja and also this is Shruti’s first ultra-glamorous role in Telugu. The film also casts Brahmanandam in a comic role as Crazy Mohan. It is needless to say, Ravi Teja and Brahmi always share a good on-screen chemistry providing audiences’ laughter riot scenes and Balupu looks no different. Meanwhile, a video of Balupu is making rounds in the internet with Shruti Haasan and Brahmanandam doing Gangnam style together and the video has been going viral. Gopichand Malineni directed the commercial mass entertainer Balupu while Param V Potluri is producing it on PVP Cinemas banner. Thaman is the music composer
