Karthika as funny as Naresh in 'Brother of Bommali'

Actress Karthika Nair, who plays the twin sister of actor-comedian Allari Naresh in upcoming Telugu action-comedy "Brother of Bommali", has impressed the film's director B. Chinni with her comic skills. Chinni feels she's as funny as Naresh. "Heroines are usually known to be glamorous and rarely funny. Karthika has a knack for comedy too. She's as funny as Naresh in my film. Audiences are going to love her new avatar in the film," Chinni told. It was Naresh who had suggested Karthika's name for the role. "Naresh told me that she would be perfect for the role. I was initially sceptical but after I started working, I realised that she was extremely talented," he said. "Karthika has also performed her own stunts in the film. We even suggested that we could use a duplicate for the stunts, but she declined the offer," he added. The film, which is currently in its post-production phase, is gearing up for release soon.

Larencce to play brother of Nag in 'Don'

It is well aware that Ragava Larencce, who turned a director from choreographer with 'Mass' of Nagarjuna, is again directing the Yuva Samrat for 'Don' with Anushka playing the female lead and produced by ML Kumar Choudary on the banner of Sri Keerthi Creations. The regular shooting of 'Don' has begun recently and some action scenes were shot at Kukatpally. It is reliably learnt that there is a very good role of the brother of 'Don' in the film, which is being portrayed by none other than the director himself. This was revealed by Nagarjuna himself in an interview to a private television channel. At the same time, the tunes for songs in the film are also being provided by none other than Ragava Larencce. After completing all the shooting and other post-production formalities, the producer is planning to release the film in July.

Swagatam: A tale of two brothers

At least, he is the link between Dasarath and Jagapathi Babu. It is a well-known fact that Ram Prasad happens to own the Walden chain of book stores. Incidentally, Dasarath happens to be a book worm and happens to know Ram Prasad rather well. It was he that Dasarath actually narrated the script of Swagatam to. So that's how we hear the movie happened. However it happened, we are happy that we will get to see Jagapathi Babu's 75th film, come January 25.
