He is one of the most popular students in Andhra Pradesh today. Not due to his academic performance, but due to his presence in the sensational hit Happy Days. Now, Vamsi Krishna is already busy with his next, a bilingual titled Call Center. He hopes that the film will do as good as 'Happy Days' and is only too happy to play a call center employee in the film. Vamsi feels both the characters focus on youth, though on two different dimensions. The film's shooting began on Dassara and nearly 60 per cent of it is already complete. In December, the unit will be shooting in Chennai. The film's producers Katragadda Lokesh and Yarlagadda Venkata Ratna Kumar said at a press meet today that while Happy Days was about the carefree life of students, their film was about the jolly days at a call center. The film's director hoped that the freshness of the subject and the cast will entice both the Telugu and Tamil youngsters. He said that the USP of their film was its cast, all of whom are newcomers.
'Call Centre' to begin shoot in Sept
Directed by Kanmani and produced by Katragadda Lokesh Dutt on the banner of Sai Balaji Arts with all new faces, the film was titled as 'Call Centre'. The film is said to be a total entertainer. While Sampath, who had scripted dialogues for 'Pokiri' is penning dialogues for this movie, while Yalamanchili Sridhar is supervising the script work. Presently script work is in progress. It was planned to produce the film simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages and the regular shoot would begin in September. Music director Manisharma is scoring tunes for the movie, while Kandikonda, Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar are scripting the lyrics. The film deals with the professional comedy that occurs in software companies and the main subject revolves around software professionals.
Suicide: Saranyas call
Some of the newspapers that carried the news on Saranya's 'suicide attempt' recently received a call from Saranya herself. She has reportedly asked the concerned persons, as to how could they write this kind of rumour without knowing the truth. 'I am not in love with anybody and I have not attempted to kill myself. I was admitted to the hospital to undergo treatment for my stomach pain', was the categorical statement of the actress. Director cum actor Bhagyaraj puts forth his reasoning: 'If my daughter tried to commit suicide, I would have gone to the hospital.' No One knows how and from where such a rumour had erupted. Saranya, discharged from the Hospital, is now feeling well.
