It seems that Kangana Ranaut has put aside all the speculations and signed Raaz 2, a sequel to Raaz, which is to be produced by the Bhatt camp. She has already proved her calibre by giving back-to-back hits like Gangster and Woh Lamhe, which were both produced by the Bhatt's .The film, also stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead. Mohit Suri approached Kangana with the script and she simply loved it, thus deciding to adjust her dates for the shoot. This marks the end of rumours of a rift between Kangana and the Bhatt's. Now after playing a bar girl and an actress in her previous movies, let's see whether she can do justice to the thriller genre.

Pradeep Sarkar may have parted ways with his mentor Vinod Chopra but he seems to be networking fast-n-furious in his new camp'The Chopra Camp'.Oops'It's the other Chopra'.Yash Chopra.It is being said in the trade circles that Sarkar has roped in the triumvirate of Bachchans (Amitabh, Jaya and Abhishek to star in his next film being produced by Yashraj Films). The soft spoken and genial Pradeep Sarkar is not willing to admit it nor does he wish to say anything about the movie. The film tentatively stars Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan. It also remains to be seen if Big B, Vidya Balan and Saif star in Pradeep's movie then will it strain their relationship with Vinod Chopra camp. Saif did 'Parineeta' and the yet to be released 'Eklavya'. Amitabh Bachchan considers 'Eklavya' may be do a 'Black' for him while Vidya owes her entire filmography ('Parineeta', 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' and the forthcoming 'Eklavya' to Vinod Chopra). Strange are the ways of Bollywood. Once-upon-a-time friends turn enemies with changing equations. People say that Aamir Khan doesn't have too many friends in the industry but his formula of being committed to a banner or director till the making or release of a film brings in more transparency. He doesn't say one thing and does another. It's time the film industry learnt a few more things from this Khan other than doing less-n-quality work and high levels of professionalism.
Shankar Ehsaan Loy to Camp at Yashraj Studios!
Shankar Ehsaan Loy are a busy trio now. It is because of the commencement of the dubbing for the background musical score of Shaad Ali's Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. This work will go on at Yashraj Studios for the next 2-3 weeks. After the big success of DON and Salaam-E-Ishq, the music directors are back with Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. The music of this film will release by the end of April. Till then, YashRaj Studios is the place where one can see them. Shaad Ali's earlier film was Bunty Aur Babli, and Shankar Ehsaan Loy scored the music for the flick as well. That makes the wait worth it! And yes, to add to the expectations, the trio believe that this is their best work ever!!

Expectation for Selvaraghavan's next film is very much alive despite the fact that the project has been in the making for over two years now. The director's last release was 'Pudhupettai' in the year 2006. His next film 'Aayirathil Oruvan' which has Karthi, Reema Sen and Andrea in lead roles, constantly faced financial issues as it kept exceeding the granted budget. Luckily, the film is nearing completion now and Selvaraghavan is planning to commence his next project in early 2009. reports indicate that Vishal might play the lead role in the film. Initially, Suriya was envisaged for the role but then things didn't work out. As far as the female lead is concerned, Trisha is being considered. The film would be produced by Ramesh Babu, who had previously made the films 'Pokkiri' and 'Nam Nadu'.

YSR Congress legislator Pothula Rama Rao on Friday joined Telugu Desam Party in the presence of party supremo Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada. Speaking to media, Mr. Rama Rao told that he took the decision to support CBN's leadership in the best interest of people of his constituency. He is hopeful of developing his constituency in the next three years under Naidu's rule. Pothula Rama Rao is representing Kandukur Assembly Constituency. With the latest defection, The strength of YSR Congress in Prakasam district has come down from Six to Two. Its a crisis period of YSR Congress. If 30% of MLAs leave the party within 2 years, How many more legislators will walk in this path in future? Its never easy to maintain a political party, particularly while sitting in the Opposition.
