The pride of Kannada filmdom S.Narayan has completed 'Chaitrada Chandrama' a film starring his son Pankaaj and mega hit 'Cheluvina Chittara' (produced and directed by Narayan) fame heroine Amoolya. This is the 39th directorial venture of the most successful director of Kannada cinema S.Narayan shot in 70 days in Bangalore and Kashmir is a tender love story. Besides being a director S.Narayan is the producer, lyricist and music director of his son Pankaaj's debut film 'Chaitradada Chandrama'. Starting the career as independent director from 'Chaitrada Premanjali' director S.Narayan sees a vast change in the technological advancement and agrees that story of a film is primarily important. On what I have done to industry I would proudly say that I have given my son to the film field. Narayan addressed the media at the Abhimani Convention center and introduced the cast and crew of the film 'Chaitrada Chandrama'. On his son Pankaaj director Narayan said he is not trained in acting and I wanted such a youngster to look fresh and natural on screen. What is all about 'Chaitrada Chandrama'? It is all about waiting in anxiety for new moon. It symbolizes my son debut also disclosed Narayan. This is the most expensive film of my career in Sri Cheluvambika Pictures added Narayan. Debutant Pankaaj who has just finished 10th class and worked in the holidays for this film like the actress Amoolya (who completed 9th standard and in the holidays she worked for the film) disclosed that he was surprised to know that he is the hero of 'Chaitrada Chandrama' a day before the commencement of the film. I had the marvelous support from my father in the dialogue delivery and acting division disclosed Pankaaj. Anand Audio Mohan present at the briefing disclosed the audio sale of 'Chaitrada Chandrama' is increasing day by day and for the debut hero such a scale of rise in sale was not heard before.
Chaitra Cinema Circuit's film titled 'Sundarakanda'
Directed by Bapu and produced by K Aparna on the banner of Chaitra Cinema Circuit with Allari Naresh and the charming Charmme in the lead, the film was titled 'Sundarakanda'. The film's next schedule was planned from October 3 to 13 at Bobbili Fort, Konaseema and its surrounding areas. Later, the unit would shift to Hyderabad and continue its shoot from October 15 to 29 and wrap up the shooting. Vidyasagar is scoring music while PRK Raju is the cinematographer. It is well aware that 'Sundarakanda' with Victory Venkatesh and Meena in the lead was a super hit. Saint-poet Valmiki wrote the episode named 'Sundarakanda' when Sita and Rama were separated and Hanuman gave them a solace by informing the whereabouts and welfare to each other. Kota Srinivasa Rao, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Ranganath, Rallapalli, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, LB Sriram, Lakshmipati, Prema, Sangeetha, Padma Jayanti, Srividya, Sunil Sharma and others are in the cast. The film is likely to hit screen in November.
