As per the Film Nagar buzz, actress Chandini Chowdary is out of Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam. Chandini recently shot for a song alongside Mahesh Babu in Brahmotsavam. While the exact reasons for her ousted are not yet known, sources say that makers decided to chop portions of Chandini in the film. Chandini was roped in for a small role which has few scenes and a brief presence in the special song on Sangeet ceremony of Chandini. Now makers decided to cut her portion. Shot to fame with short films, Chandini recently made her silver screen debut with Ketugadu which turned out to be a dud. And her ousted is definitely a major blow to Chandini at the early of her career who was on cloud nine ever since the news of she part of Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam is doing the rounds. Meanwhile, an official confirmation from the production house on this is awaited.
Sudha Chandran's re-entry!
This classical dancer who made a stunning performance in her film 'Mayuri' is gearing for a come back to the film field after more than two decades. There are reports doing the rounds down South that Sudha Chandran is on a comeback mission to films. Though initially confused when she was offered a role in 'Salute', the actress agreed to play her part after she went through the script. Sudha Chandran, who lost a limb in a tragic car accident in 1982, after a hiatus, got busy acting in Hindi soaps. She is definitely an icon of will power and determination! Sudha's fans will be pleased to see her now on the big screen after all these years. 'Salute' is a bilingual film that is being made in Telugu and Tamil starring Vishal and Nayantara in the lead roles. Vishal plays a cop and Nayan a journo. Insiders have suggested that Sudha Chandran too has a very pivotal role in the film. If all goes well this film will hit theatres in June. Welcome back Sudha we are eagerly waiting for your comeback!
Vijay Antony's girl for Kayal Chandran
Satna Titus, who made her debut with Vijay Antony starrer Pichaikkaran has now signed her next movie. She will be seen in a film opposite actor Chandran, of Kayal fame. The movie will be directed by debutante Sudhar who has worked on many short films. This will be Sudhar's first feature film for the industry. The film, which is yet to be titled, will be launched with a special pooja on July 15th. Ragunathan of 2MB (Two Movie Buffs) is producing this movie.
Chandran and Pichaikaaran Heroine pairup for a movie
Kayal fame actor Chandran is now set to start his next project which will have R.Parthiepan in a pivotal role. This yet to be titled project will have Pichaikaaran fame actress Satna Titus as the lead heroine. The film will be directed by debutant Sudhar (a) Sai Sudharshan, who arrives from the league of Naalaiya Iyakkunar. As per the reports, Chandran will be playing as a IT professional, while Parthiepan will be a local don, and the uncle of the heroine.
Chandran - Satna's movie gets a title
We had already reported that Kayal Chandran and Satna Titus will share screen space in an upcoming film under debutante Sudhar's direction. This project has been titled as 'Thittam Poattu Thirudura Kootam' and it was launched with an auspicious pooja today. The cast and crew will start shooting soon. We wish the TPTK team all the best!
