Audio rights of Akshay Kumar's new film has been acquired by T-series 'Chandni Chowk to China' the action comedy film is a tale of a cook in Delhi going to China to learn martial arts will be quite interesting to watch if the newness of the story idea is presented properly and Akshay kumar as the hero is the perfect choice not only because he himself is a martial arts enthusiast but has proved long back his talent and timing for presenting comedy. Music Director Bappi Lahri has sung a song for the film. The music is composed by Shankar Ehssan loy and Kailash Kher. The movie produced by Mukesh Taleja, Ramesh Sippy and Warner Bros. is directed by Nikhil Advani and written by Sridhar Raghvan. Majority portion of the film is shot in China and has the beautiful Deepika Padukone playing double role. The market value of the music tracks of Akshay Kumar has also gone up with the rising star status of the action hero. Just the other day the audio rights of 'Sing is Kingg' were sold for a record price. How much must have T-Series paid for this new movie of Akshay. Any guesses?
Writer of Chandni Bar is back
While 'Chandni Bar' brought ample recognition for Madhur Bhandarkar and Tabu, one person who was surprisingly ignored was the film's writer, Mohan Azad. The man who had done the dialogues and screenplay didn't really become a hot property after the release of the film in spite of churning out a sensitive saga. Now, he is back with yet another women centric film about their emotional turmoil and sacrifices they make. The film is called 'Janani' and stars Bhagyashree and Ayesha Jhulka as the central protagonists. The film also stars Mohnish Behl and Aman Verma and releases all over on 6th October. 'Janani' is an ULTRA release.
Madhur plans a sequel of Chandni Bar
In this era of sequels why should Madhur Bhandarkar be left behind? He is planning a sequel of award-winning film Chandni Bar and has tentatively titled it Chandni Bar 2. The idea struck him when recently Mumbai dance bars made news. Madhur has had an informal talk with Tabu who seemed to be very excited about the project. She was the protagonist, Mumtaz, in the original Chandni Bar. Madhur will make the movie only if Tabu agrees to act in it. Madhur Bhandarkar had won a National award for Chandni Bar. The film in the original ended when Mumtaz killed her son keeping it open for sequel.
Rishi Kapoor calls ‘Befikre’ the “adult version” of ‘Chandni’
The trailer of 'Befikre' was released on October 10 amidst much fanfare in Paris. Since then, Twitterati has gone on an overdrive, comparing the Ranveer Singh-Vaani Kapoor starrer to various films - from the forgettable 'Neal 'N' Nikki' to the Hollywood fare 'No Strings Attached'. Now, arguably one of the most entertaining people on Twitter - read Rishi Kapoor - has given his very own take on the movie. In his trademark candid style, the senior actor called 'Befikre' the "updated adult version" of his own 1989 hit 'Chandni'. Confused? Here's what Rishi tweeted: "Befikre. An outstanding hot trailer! Chandni ka 2016 updated "adult version". Exotic locale, natural actors, naughty, witty, funny, romantic!"
Chandini Chowdary is Out of Brahmotsavam!
As per the Film Nagar buzz, actress Chandini Chowdary is out of Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam. Chandini recently shot for a song alongside Mahesh Babu in Brahmotsavam. While the exact reasons for her ousted are not yet known, sources say that makers decided to chop portions of Chandini in the film. Chandini was roped in for a small role which has few scenes and a brief presence in the special song on Sangeet ceremony of Chandini. Now makers decided to cut her portion. Shot to fame with short films, Chandini recently made her silver screen debut with Ketugadu which turned out to be a dud. And her ousted is definitely a major blow to Chandini at the early of her career who was on cloud nine ever since the news of she part of Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam is doing the rounds. Meanwhile, an official confirmation from the production house on this is awaited.
Vijay Sethupathi's intimate scene with Chandini
Versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi's 'Kavan' directed by K.V.Anand will apparently have an intimate scene for the actor with Chandini Tamizharasan in a flashback sequence.Chandini in her interview to an English daily revealed that she comes in the flashback college sequence in the film which provide a crucial turning point in the film.She also revealed that she shot for five days for her role in the film which involves an intimate scene with Vijay Sethupathi that has been shot very aesthetically.'Kavan' stars Madonna Sebastian as the female lead. T.Rajendhar, Vikratnth, Bose Venkat and many other prominent actors are part of the ensemble cast.The film is expected to hit the screens in February 2017.
