Chiranjeevi Vs Aamir this Friday

After 'Aparichit' last week that was a dubbed version of Tamil superhit 'Anniyan' [2005], it is time for yet another dubbed film to arrive at Hindi screens in quick succession. The film is 'Bajrang-He Man' that stars Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi in the lead and is a dubbed version of Telugu superhit 'Jai Chiranjeeva' [2005]. An action/drama, 'Bajrang-He Man' primarily comprises of Bollywood starcast that ranges from Arbaaz Khan, Bhumika Chawla, Sameera Reddy to Rahul Dev! The release timing of the film is interesting as it clashes with Aamir Khan/Kajol starrer 'Fanaa' and makes it a superstar clash, though it's a different matter that 'Bajrang-He Man' would have a selective single screen release. The other release of the week is a comedy called 'Love Ke Chakkar Mein' that has Akshat and Namita making their debut with Rishi Kapoor as a pillar of support.

Chiranjeevi - Richer than Gates

If Bill Gates thinks he is the richest man in the world, then he may have to change his idea. There is one who legitimately thinks that he is richer than Mr.Gates. And the man who feels so is none other than Chiranjeevi. Don't think Chiru is under some delusion. Nor is making billions like the Microsoft's honcho. But what makes Chiru feel richer that Gates is the fact that he has a legion of steadfast fans. 'I am richer than Bill Gates. I am having billions fans who are more valuable than Bill's billions of Dollars,' Chiru said at the 9th ATA conference, Los Angeles. Indeed yes, Chiru garu.

Chiranjeevi in the direction of S.S.Rajamouli

The rumor mills in the film industry and the trade are agog with the news coming in that director S.S.Rajamouli, who is known in the film industry as the man with Midas touch and never seen or directed a flop movie in his entire directorial career, is going to direct Chiranjeevi the number one hero in the Telugu Film Industry in a forthcoming film. His mentor and guru K.Raghavendra Rao will produce the film under his banner RK Film Associates. It was K.Raghavendra Rao, who introduced S.S.Rajamouli to the film industry by giving him a break in the film '?ÂÂ?Student No: 1'?ÂÂ?, starring Junior NTR in the lead. The film went on to become a big hit at the exhibition arenas. The success of the film saw S.S.Rajamouli growing in stature with each film and stood tall among all the upcoming directors. The subsequent films like '?ÂÂ?Simhadri'?ÂÂ?, '?ÂÂ?Sye'?ÂÂ?, '?ÂÂ?Chatrapathi'?ÂÂ?, and the recent one '?ÂÂ?Vikramarkudu'?ÂÂ? worked magic at the box-office. What might have prompted Chiranjeevi to express his desire to act in the direction of S.S.Rajamouli must be for the fact that all the films of S.S.Rajamouli had the mass elements in precise places. Chiranjeevi, whose films off late is not finding favor with the masses, must have thought long and hard on the director for his latest film. He finally thought that the man who can provide him the much-needed boost is S.S.Rajamouli. The shooting of the film will start in January of next year. The coming together of this high-voltage pair will undoubtedly create a lot of pyrotechnics at the box-office in a huge and explosive manner.

Chiranjeevi fans seize pirated CDs of Stalin

The fans of Mega Star Chiranjeevi seized some pirated CDs of their favorite hero's latest flick 'Stalin' here on Friday morning. Producers K Nagendrababu, 'Dil' Raju and NV Prasad also participated in the raids. Speaking on the occasion, Nagababu says, 'Our Mega Star's fans had caught several pirated CDs of Stalin this morning. Not only the Chiranjeevi fans, but the fans of all the heroes should join hands to eradicate the video piracy.' Dil Raju says, 'While producing a film, we used to worry about the success of our film earlier. However, we are working on how to contain the video piracy, right from the day one of the film's release. It has become a curse for the film's success. Though we spend crores of rupees and make films, it is for the people's entertainment. But it is sad that some pirated CDs of 'Bommarillu' were also caught earlier.' Another producer NV Prasad says, 'It is a shame to hear that pirated CDs of latest films like 'Stalin, Boss, Bommarillu and Andala Ramudu' are available in VCD shops. Not only the Mega Star's fans, but everyone should strive to curtail the piracy.'

Chiranjeevi's kids follow father

Like father, like children. Chiranjeevi had started a big movement in the name of blood donation and eye donation. Padma Bhushan Dr Chiranjeevi is travelling in a path and it is only natural that his children are following his footsteps. A recent incident proved this categorically. Recently a girl called Nazia was admitted to Nims Hospital with brain cancer. She is from an underprivileged background and is quite poor. On learning about the incident, the youngest daughter of Dr Chiranjeevi, Srija, took the help of her cousins and handed over Rs 50,000 to the patient for treatment. Speaking on the occasion, Srija said, "I came to know through a TV channel about the patient and was moved at her plight as she is almost my age. Immediately I contacted my cousins and collected Rs 25,000 from them, I personally took Rs 25,000 from my father and handed over Rs 50,000 to her for medical expenses. I pray God to give her good health as soon as possible."
