More news →'Chirutha' for release on Mega Star's birthday
It is well aware that the regular shooting of the debut film of Ram Charan Teja, son of Mega Star, Padma Bhushan, Dr Chiranjeevi, has begun in Bangkok. The shooting is going on at fast pace and Ram Charan Teja is striving hard and working like a dedicated soldier and attending shooting under hot son, even on his birthday on March 27. The film is being directed by Puri Jagannath, while it is produced by C Aswinidutt on the banner of Vyjayanti Movies. Delhi model Neha is making her debut as heroine opposite Ram Charan Teja. The next schedule is planned in Hyderabad. Manisharma is providing tunes for this flick and 'Chirutha' is the title under consideration for this movie. It is learnt that the producer and director were of the opinion to complete the shooting and other post-production formalities by July and release the film on August 22, the birthday of Mega Star. If the film's release coincides with the birthday of Mega Star, the fans of Mega Brothers would give the film an unexpected openings which might break the records.
'Chirutha' unit to return on April 28
Shooting of the debut film of Ram Charan Tej, son of Mega Star, Padma Bhushan, Dr Chiranjeevi, 'Chirutha', with Delhi model Neha playing the female lead and directed by versatile director Puri Jagannath and produced by C Aswinidutt on the banner of Vyjayanti Movies is progressing at a fast pace in Bangkok. The film is being made as a youthful entertainer. Though Ram Charan Tej is the son of a top hero in Telugu film industry, he is striving hard without any inhibition and is taking part in the shooting despite severe heatwave conditions right under the hot sun. Director Puri Jagannath says, 'The film is coming out well with different dances, fights and action scenes, and was suited well to Ram Charan Tej's body language. The film would be on par with the expectations of the Mega Brothers' fans.' It is reliably learnt that the film unit is returning to Hyderabad by April 28. The shooting would continue in Hyderabad and efforts are on to release the film on August 22, the birthday of Mega Star. Manisharma is providing tunes for this movie.
'Chirutha' shoots key scenes
The shooting of a film directed by Puri Jagannath and produced by C Aswinidutt on the banner of Vyjayanti Movies with Ramcharan Teja, son of Padma Bhushan, Mega Star, Dr Chiranjeevi, as hero and Delhi model Neha in the female lead, is progressing at a brisk pace in Bangkok. Some key scenes involving Ramcharan Teja and Neha were shot very recently. Canning of two songs were also complete, besides an action episode. It is reliably learnt that the entire first half of the film would run with Bangkok in its backdrop. The film is completely being made a youthful entertainer and Manisharma is giving melodious tunes to all the songs. The unit members were claiming that Ramcharan Teja is showing very good ease in dance numbers like his father Chiranjeevi. 'Chirutha' is the title under consideration for the flick and it was planned to release the film on August 22.
'Chirutha' next schedule from May 3

Almost all the important scenes were shot there. The next schedule of the film was planned from May 3 in and around Hyderabad. It is said that the unit members were surprised at the ease shown by Ram Charan Teja in dances and fights and they proved that he could easily continue the legacy of his father Chiranjeevi. Manisharma gave fantastic tunes for the flick. Director Puri Jagannath says, 'The film is getting ready to reach the expectations of everyone. After 'Pokiri and Desamuduru' this film would be the hattrick film for me.' It is reliably learnt that 'Chiruta' title was confirmed for the movie. It was planned to release the film on August 22, the birthday of Chiranjeevi.
'Chirutha' completes 30 per cent shoot
Over 30 per cent talkie part of a film being directed by Puri Jagannath and produced by C Aswinidutton the banner of Vyjayanti Movies introducing Ram Charan Teja, son of Padma Bhushan, Mega Star, Dr Chiranjeevi, as hero and Mumbai model Neha as heroine, was completed recently with the shooting in Bangkok and Thailand and its surrounding areas. It is reliably learnt that 'Chirutha' was the title confirmed for the movie. It may be mentioned here that Chiranjeevi is ruling the hearts and souls of the Telugu audiences for the past 25 years and reached the highest peak in the Telugu film industry. Ram Charan Teja, who is joining the films to continue the legacy of his father would also reach one such highest place and there were lots of expectations on the success of the film among the industry circles as well as the audiences in general and the Mega Star fans in particular. Puri Jagannath says, 'There were compliments that Ram Charan Teja was looking handsome after watching the photographs published in some film magazines. But he would appear more handsome in our film.' Manisharma gave melodious tunes to all the songs in the film. The film is slated for release on August 22, the birthday of Mega Star Chiranjeevi and the director and producer were making efforts to complete all the formalities by that time.
'Chirutha' fresh schedule to begin this week
Over 30 per cent of the talkie was finished for a film being directed by Puri Jagannath and produced by C Aswinidutt on the banner of Vyjayanti Movies with Ram Charan Tej, son of Padma Bhushan, Mega Star, Dr Chiranjeevi, and Mumbai model Neha in the lead, with the completion of the first schedule at Bangkok. The latest schedule of this film would begin during this week in and around Hyderabad. Two songs were also choreographed during the last schedule. Manisharma gave fantastic tunes for this youthful entertainer. Director Puri Jagannath says, 'Ram Charan is giving an extraordinary performance and being the son of Mega Star, he is dominating the performance of his father. He became a star hero even before the release of his debut film. The photographs published in some magazines were stunning and he is looking very handsome. One need not get surprised by watching these photographs as he was appearing in a most beautiful way in our film. We will soon bring out his stills which were in hundreds in our film. I am sure that I would show 200 per cent result as the Mega Star had kept so much confidence on me. We are sure to release the film on the birthday of Mega Star Chiranjeevi, i.e., on August 22.'
