Chitrashi Rawat - From Chak De to Fashion

Remember who this Chitrashi Rawat is? She was a rough 'n' tough missy Komal Chautala in Shah Rukh Khan's Chak De India. Nevertheless, stepping into Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion has completely transubstantiated her looks and modulations. Yup! With the theme of glitz and glamour having its great impact on every actor in the film, Chitarashi is not an exception. Ennobled as 'Komal Chautala' of Chak De India, she dons the role of a fashion coordinator. Ask Madhur about her? He replies, "How did you get to notice this, it's merely for a surprise". Totting up to this, the auteur adds that Chitarashi appears in just 4 scenes and they would be off more prominence. Sources have revealed that the actress has spelled a scintillating performance and let's wait to catch up with more sensation on October 29. Hitting screens on the occasion of Diwali, Fashion would have its contender 'Golmaal Returns' releasing on the same day.

Shakthi Chithambaram avoids Namitha

Director Shakthi Chithambaram, who has cast the sensational Namitha in all his films including his latest 'Sandai', has decided to avoid her in his forthcoming movies. What went wrong between the director and his favorite heroine? 'I have cast her in all my films. I thought this could be interpreted in a mischievous way by somebody and hence I decided to avoid her', says the director. The grapevine, however, has it that Namitha is quite unhappy with the manner in which her portions were handled in the movie. It is said that many scenes featuring the buxom babe were cut off from the movie and that had created displeasure to the girl. Namitha, who used to give a piece of her mind to the concerned person through SMS, has given vent to her feelings in the same manner. Shakthi, it is said, has reacted sharply by deciding not to cast Namitha in his films.

"I did ask Chitrangda - Why SORRY BHAI?" - Onir

Film maker Onir can't help but smile while recollecting his conversations with Chitrangda Singh, the leading lady of his soon-to-be-released film SORRY BHAI. "I have been often asked how Chitrangda agreed to make her comeback with SORRY BHAI after a hiatus", quips Onir, "After all there were so many other reputed banners and film makers who were queuing up to make a film with her." What was her reply? "I asked her this question during our shooting stint at Mauritius. While I expected her to say that it was because of me or actors like Sanjay Suri and Sharman Joshi, she stumped us all by saying that it was because of the film's script more than anything else which made her nod in agreement for being a part of the project", says Onir with mock humor. "She admitted that for her script was of paramount importance and in case of SORRY BHAI, it was the biggest hero of all", quips Onir. While the shooting of SORRY BHAI is complete, the film is now in it's promotion stage. Apart from Sanjay, Sharman and Chitrangda, the film's star cast is lead by Shabana Azmi and Boman Irani. The film has music by Gaurav Dayal and is confirmed for 28th November release.
