Action extravaganza ' never before on the Kannada screen claims the 'Circle Rowdy' advertisement in the newspapers. Five action scenes by five stunt directors in which director Rammurthy has also done a trick perhaps made the local censor board to pass on 'U and A' certificate for make or break film of 'Mari Tiger' ' Vinod Prabhakar. Produced by R.Ravichandra for Dream creations has Arya's cinematographer and Krupakar's music direction. Thriller Manju, Kaurava Venkatesh, Shivu, Tiger Madhu and Different Danny are the stunt directors. Kushi, Shobaraj, Jai Jagdeesh, Bank Janardhan, Venkatesh, Mico Nagaraj and Shakeela are in the cast.
Life is a circle for Rehman
A R Rehman is the happening music director today with a busy schedule ahead of him. Strumming out tunes for Sivaji, Rehman's forthcoming projects include sequel of Shekhar Kapur's Elizabeth and a musical London Dreams. He is also assigned to score music for Mani Ratnam's Guru, Shyam Benegal's Chamki Chameli and the periodical Akbar Jodha. However the young music-composer has managed to squeeze time to attempt something new. He is coming out with a offbeat new music album, which will be out by the end of the year For the album, Rehman is teaming up with a guitarist of international repute. Rehman says nature is his muse and this comes through in the new signature tune that he's created for Worldspace, who have also signed him on as their brand ambassador. 'I started out with jingles and I am now composing music for advertisements. Life has come a full circle,' Rehman says philosophically.
Vineeth completes a circle now
The young actor who is also a trained classical dancer played the role of a dancer in Chandramukhi. He appeared for a dance sequence with Jyothika and it became a big hit in Tamilnadu. Now the film is being remade in Hindi as Bhool Bhoolayee. Priyadarshan is directing it. Akshay Kumar plays the hero. Vidya Balan is the heroine. In the Hindi film, Vineeth is going to play the role that he did in Tamil. Vineeth will be making his foray to Bollywood with the movie.
Charmi comes a full circle
Actress Charmi started her career in filmdom with Vijaya T Rajendher's Kadhal Azhivathillai. She followed it up with films like Aha Ethanai Azhagu and Kadhal Kisu Kisu. However Charmy ventured to do Telugu movies and managed to hit the bulls eye. She emerged the top heroine in the neighbouring State. After a long gap, she is brought back to Tamil cinema by director Prabhu Solomon. The director for his next venture Laadam has cast Charmi as heroine. A newcomer Aravindhan plays the hero. The movie is produced by Chozha Creations. A thrilled Charmi says, 'Though I managed to make it big in Telugu films, my desire was always to act in Tamil films. When Solomon approached me, I agreed to it without any hesitation'.
Manchu Vishnu's Risky Act stuns Trade Circles
Manchu Vishnu had delivered at least more than dozen flops already. Poor success rate hasn't deterred him from experimenting with scripts and risking too much with high cost of production. Vishnu decided to produce 'Kannappa' directed by Tanikella Bharani. The cost of movie based on Lord Shiva's devotee is three times more than the market of Manchu Hero. Still, The amazing script penned by Tanikella needs a mammoth budget to reach larger section of audience. All the hits of Vishnu are comedy capers, be it Dhee, Denikaina Ready and Doosukeltha. Are audience willing to encourage his new attempt? Will a devotional flick draw audience to theaters inspite of not having a star? Critics question, 'Why does Vishnu want to take so much risk at this point of his career? What is he trying to prove by doing so?'.
