Superstar Rajinikanth, who is currently busy shooting for Tamil action-er "Lingaa", will be seen in dual avatar in the film, which is no more a news. Latest we hear that he will be playing a district collector and an unknown role in a flashback sequence. "Rajini sir is playing double role in the film. He plays a district collector in the present day of the story, while he will be seen in a different role in the flashback sequence. The makers have kept it a secret," said a source from the film's unit. Rajinikanth and Lingaa crew are currently shooting in Hyderabad. Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is paired with the superstar along with Anushka, Lauren J Irwin, Jagapathi Babu, Vivek, Santhanam and others in important roles. Directed by K.S. Ravikumar, Lingaa is produced by Rockline Venkatesh and music is by A.R. Rahman.
Collection King to play special role in Siri Creations movie
A film is likely to be launched with Collection King, Padma Shri, Dr Mohanbabu, in a special role on the banner of Siri Creations with M Satyanarayana is the producer. Producer Satyanarayana's son is being introduced as hero through this movie, which is to be directed by Sai Balaji. The character in this film was designed in a different style by keeping Mohanbabu's image and body language in view. It is worth mentioning here that it was the next film after the prestigious film 'Yamadonga' in which he played a mythological role as Yamadharma Raju. The film is all set to go to sets very soon.
Collections: Dhruva Gets 5 Cr On Day 2
After failing to meet the expectations on Day One, Ram Charan's Dhruva has reportedly sustained well on Day Two. The word of mouth from B,C Centres doesn't look as encouraging as the one from the A centres.Good occupancy is being reported on early Sunday as well. However, the big test of box office sustainability commences from Friday and then a clear picture can be drawn about the fate of Dhruva.   In overseas, Dhruva has already become the highest grosser of Charan and is racing towards 1 million club.

Stalin collects over Rs 30 cr in 30 days
It was once again proved that Mega Star Chiranjeevi is an emperor in Tollywood. His latest flick 'Stalin' had rewritten the entire 75-year-old Telugu film history by getting the highest ever collections by crossing Rs 30-crore mark in 30 days. Never in the past, there was such a big hit at box-office which had made the mark so far. The movie had recovered the cost of the budget in the second week itself and with this share the movie has recovered the selling cost of the buyers, with the latter entering the profit zone. Another interesting point to note here is that this is the fourth time in the Telugu film history a hero scored Rs 30 plus crore shares, with the earlier films such as Indra, Tagore, Shankar Dada MBBS and now Stalin. The figures are being given to substantiate the victory ' Nizam Rs 9.40 crore, Ceded Rs 6.50 crore, UA Rs 3 crore, East 1.75 crore, West 1.44 crore, Krishna Rs 1.50 crore, Guntur, Rs 1,75,42,950, Nellore 1,00,42,000, Karnataka Rs 2.25 crore, Tamil Nadu Rs 40 lakh, North India Rs 60 lakh, while Overseas Rs 2,25,00,000. All put together it amounts Rs 32,04,14,938.
Stalin collects record Rs 24 crore for two weeks
Mega Star and Padmabhushan Chiranjeevi, who gave sensational message-oriented hit films like 'Indra' and 'Tagore' has again set another new record with his latest flick 'Stalin' directed by Murugadoss and produced by K Nagendrababu. The film is creating new records in terms of collections. 'Stalin' had collected over Rs 6 crore share on the first day itself, which is a record in the history of Indian film industry. The film had again collected Rs 17 crores during the first one week, which is a new record in the south Indian film industry. According to latest reports, the film had collected Rs 24,42,80,110 shares for the first two weeks.
