The promos of much-awaited Yash Raj Films’ next offering “Badmaash Company” will simultaneously hit internet and small screen March 24, says Shahid Kapoor who plays lead in the movie. Shahid wrote on microblogging site Twitter: “Ok, people, so officially ‘BADMAASH COMPANY’ promo out on internet and news channels 24th theatres 26th and tv 28th March.” Scheduled for May 7 release, “Badmaash Company” is actor Parmeet Sethi’s first directorial venture. Set in the 1990s in middle-class Mumbai, it is about four young friends who get together to start a company. Their business is an instant hit because they find a way to beat the system. It also stars Anushka Sharma, Meiyang Chang of “Indian Idol” fame and Vir Das.
Percept Picture Company has 16 Kids

They have delivered a motion picture Makdee that became very popular with both kids and adults. They ventured into animation films for the first time in India and the attempt was the most unexpected success of the year 2005- Hanuman. The unprecedented success in Children's cinema has encouraged them to come up with a yet another motion picture once again for children titled 16 Kids. The film is sure to have more than 16 kids playing various characters in the film. It is expected to tap the market for Children's cinema that has gone unnoticed for several years now. There is nothing known about the story or the star cast of the film. All that is known is that the film will hit cinemas across India in October this year. Anupam Kher's Talent Company Casting Agency For Angelina Jolie's 'A Mighty Heart'
One little known fact behind the extraordinary film A Mighty Heart starring Angelina Jolie is the role played by Anupam Kher's Talent Company . The talent agency, which is currently very active in the international market, actually got its first major Hollywood assignment with this docudrama. The credit for awarding the casting contract to Anupam Kher's Talent Company bagging the contract for A Mighty Heart goes to the leading casting director of UK, Wendy Brazington, who was also the casting head for the film. In fact, so impressed was she with the nascent company's contacts in the talent ' spotting business, that she also agreed to formally launch it in May last year! Since then, Anupam Kher's Talent Company has had several prestigious assignments coming its way. Among them were BBC radio's production of The Adventures of Feluda , based on Satyajit Ray's stories on the fictional detective, and The Darjeeling Ltd. starring Owen Wilson, plus a host of Bollywood films and commercials.
Vivek refuses Mohanlal's 'company'
Last week, the media was abuzz about Vivek Oberoi playing the lead with Malayalam superstar Mohanlal in his new film 'Kargil' directed by Major Ravi (of 'Keerthi Chakra' and 'Mission 90 Days' fame). But according to Vivek's new publicist Dale Bhagwagar, the actor has declined the offer. "Vivek has already worked with Mohanlal in 'Company'. He was indeed offered this one too. But he's not doing it," he said. The actor has recently bagged Karan Johar's untitled home production to be directed by Rensil D'Silva (screenwriter of 'Rang De Basanti'), where he will be starring in the lead along with Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Meanwhile, Popcorn Motion Pictures and Balaji Telefilms Limited's 'Mission Istanbul' directed by Apoorva Lakhia and starring Vivek along with Sunil Shetty, Zayed Khan and Shriya Saran, is nearing release. Earlier, Vivek has won critical acclaim for his performances in films including 'Company', 'Saathiya', 'Kisna', 'Dum', 'Masti', 'Yuva', 'Kaal', 'Kyun! Ho Gaya Na', 'Omkara' and 'Shootout at Lokhandwala'.
Akshay gets superman's company

After roping in Sylvester Stallone and the beautiful Denise Richards for small roles in the movie, producer of the film has managed to get one of the best Hollywood hunks for a brief appearance. The extremely handsome Brandon Routh famous for doing the title role of 'Superman Returns' is the man who will be seen along with our own Akki in 'Kambakkth Ishq'. It was known that getting Brandon will not be an easy task as the actor is very selective when it comes to characters. But after two months of chasing, Brandon finally said yes and then shot for five days in Los Angeles. Akshay Kumar plays a stunt man who acts as body double for the famous stars of Hollywood in 'Kambakkth Ishq'.
Hrishita Bhatt in an elite company
Hrishita Bhatt is one of those actresses who are still hanging around in Bollywood inspite of not-so-happening releases! In the past, she had multiple releases, starting from 'Asoka' that came way back in 2001. From 'Asoka' till now, she hasn't had a single success to her name, with an exception of 'Ab Tak Chappan' [that was mainly a Nana Patekar] film and most recently 'Jawani Diwani' that managed to find a coverage status over a long run. 2006 has been overall unkind to her as her central protagonist role in 'Jigyaasa' was hardly noticed as the film sunk without a trace while her guest appearance in 'Ankahee' was not even talked about. She may now have something to look forward to as she changes gears to be a part of a social film titled 'Dharam' where she finds herself in an elite company comprising of Pankaj Kapoor and Supriya Pathak. Others in the supporting cast are KK Raina and Dayashankar Pandey who have a standing for themselves as far as supporting roles are concerned. A film directed by newcomer Bhavna Talwar, 'Dharam' is slated for an October release.
