Ilayaraja s musical concert at Mohan Babu s school

Music Maestro Ilayaraja has given a musical live performance along with 30 violinists at the educational institute of tollywood’s popular actor Mohan Babu in Tirupathi. The musical concert was attented by K Raghavendra Rao, litterateur Y. Lakshmi Prasad, former AP Chief Minister N Janardhan Reddy and other VIPs. It was also attended by nearly 2000 odd people and made the event a grand success. Later, Mohan Babu, who spoke during the event called the music maestro as the pride of a nation. And other biggies who have given sppech on the occasion appreciated the pains of Mr. Mohan Babu to provide free education to the poor in his institution.

Harris Jayaraj’s concert touches a new location

Harris Jayaraj’s concert Harris: On the Edge was announced to take place in Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad etc. Now, the musician has added Madurai to this list. A huge demand from his Madurai fans prompted the music director to add this location to itinerary. Harris’s decision has evoked a good response from his Madurai fans and the musician is happy to conduct the live concert there.

Illayaraja plans special tribute concert for M.S. Viswanathan

Maestro Illayaraja is said to be organising a concert here on July 27 as a tribute to the late legendary musician M.S. Viswanathan (MSV), who passed away last week. "MSV has had a very strong influence on Illayaraja's music. As a special tribute to the veteran composer, he will organise a concert titled Ennulle Ulla MSV. Around 30 best songs from Viswanathan's repertoire will be performed at the event," a source close to Illayaraja told. Illayaraja also plans to bring together all surviving members of MSV's troupe to play at the concert. "Singers who have sung in MSV's compositions will also be invited," the source added. MSV, as he was fondly known in the Tamil film fraternity, had over 750 films to his credit in an illustrious career spanning over four decades. He was 87, and passed away due to geriatric problems.

Anirudh Ravichander dedicates concert to Chennai flood victims

Young composer and singer Anirudh Ravichander, who will be performing at the Powerade Centre in Brampton here on Saturday, has dedicated his concert to victims of flood-hit Chennai. Ravichander, who has composed songs for Tamil films like “3”, “David”, “Irandaam Ulagam”, “Velaiyilla Pattathari” and “Maari”, took to Twitter on Thursday to express his sympathy to the people of Chennai. “Landed in Toronto. Thanks to all the fans who welcomed us at the airport. Dedicating the concert and proceeds to the Chennai Floods victims,” Ravichander tweeted. Ravichander is best known for composing the hit single "Why this kolaveri di", which was sung by Tamil star Dhanush. The song has received over 100 million views on YouTube.

Global Citizen music concert - Coldplay sings Vandemataram in Mumbai

At the ongoing Global Citizen music concert event in Mumbai, various famous rock bands like Coldplay and singers like Jay Z are entertaining Indian audiences. Other day an interesting thing happened when British sensational rock band "Coldplay" entered the stage with their lead singer Chris Martin putting the mic on. Legendary AR Rahman has come up on stage and made Chris Martin sing the famous 'Maa Tujhe Salam" song from Vandemataram album of Rahman's own. Absolutely the audiences have felt that Rahman made Chris Martine pay tributes to India when in India and that clicked well with everyone.

26 Women Sexually Assaulted at Music Concert

Refugees in Germany has sexually assaulted 26 Women, all of them are German nationals, at a Music Concert which began on Sunday. The mode of operation is similar to hundreds of Gangrapes by Arab and North Africans at Cologne on December 31st last year. Refugees who came in groups surrounded the German Women before molesting and violating them. So far, About 26 women lodged complaints for alleged sexual assault. Authorities were expecting few more victims might approach the police soon. Until now, Three Pakistani refugees were arrested in connection with the case. Post this brutal incident, Anti-Refugee Sentiment is spreading like wildfire. Officials are taking preventive measures to make sure law & order if fine. Around 1 lakh people attended this Concert which lasts for four days and security has been tightened after the sexual assault.
