Nagarjuna’s socio-fantasy project Damarukam will commence its fresh schedule in Saradhi Studios from 1st July. A special set is being erected for the schedule, where few vitals scenes in the film will be shot. A couple of schedules have already been wrapped up earlier in Switzerland and Hyderabad. Anushka is pairing up with Nagarajuna in the film. This is the fourth film in the duo combination. Damarukam is being directed by Srinivas Reddy and produced by Venkat on RR Movie Makers banner. K Atchi Reddy is presenting the film. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for Damarukam.

Akkineni Nagarjuna’s Magnum Opus ‘Damarukam’ is currently undergoing extensive Computer Graphics (CG) work at a private studio in Hyderabad. Damarukam film is still left with 7 days of shooting to complete the patch work and Nagarjuna is expected to join the shoot in a couple of days to wrap up the pending work. In all, there are 6 songs that are being canned for Damarukam and one of them includes an item song. Damarukam audio songs are expected to hit the marquee in April while the movie release is being planned for May. Damarukam is a socio-fantasy film directed by Srinivas Reddy and this film is going to be the costliest in terms of budget in Nagarjuna’s career. Atchi Reddy is producing the film under RR Movie Makers banner. Devi Sri Prasad is composing music while Chota K Naidu wields the camera. Anushka is playing the female lead and is was gossiped that Simran is playing in an item song.
Nag’s ‘Damarukam’ to be launched on 14th Jan!
We has earlier informed you that Nagarjuna has signed up a new film under the renowned banner, RR Movie Makers. Now, the latest news is, the movie is all set to be launched on the Pongal day i.e., 14thJanuary. The film is tentatively titled as ‘Damarukam’. Damarukam will be directed by Srinivas Reddy who has earlier directed ‘Yamagola Malli Modalaindhi’ and Venkat is producing it. Interesting news about the project is, Nagarjuna is pairing up with Anushka for the 4th time after their immediate ‘Ragada’. The film is being touted as a socio-fantasy film with full-length comedy. Other details of cast and crew of the film are awaited.
Nagarjuna’s Damarukam in Hyderabad
Akkineni Nagarjuna’s socio-fantasy film Damarukam is currently being canned in Hyderabad. The makers are planning to film a song along with some climax scenes in Hyderabad from early next month. Damarukam is taking shape in the hands of director Srinivas Reddy while Venkat is producing the movie on RR Movie Makers banner. Anushka is zeroed in to play the leading lady in the film. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music for the film while Chota.K.Naidu is handling the cinematography. Damarukam is said to be the costliest film for Nagarjuna till date and the movie is expected to be released in February 2012.
Nagarjuna Damurukam Shooting in RFC
Akkineni Nagarjuna next movie Damurukum currently shooting in Ramoji Film City. The unit is filming scenes on Nagarjuna and Anushka. Director Srinivas Reddy has almost completed 50% of the movie and the post production works also running simultaneously. Nagarjuna is playing the role of auto driver in Dhamarukam movie. Damarukam movie is directed Srinivas Reddy and produced by Venkat under RR Movie Makers banner. It was also reported that Simran is playing a cameo in Damarukam. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music and Chota K Naidu is the cameraman.
