Dharmesh Darshans Cast Away

The casting problems for Dharmesh Darshan's untitled venture continues as Sushmita Sen who was earlier offered the main lead actress is now being replaced by Tabu opposite Govinda. Dharmesh Darshan says 'Nothing is confirmed as yet. We are still in talks but will get a clear picture soon about the cast.' Apparently the role of Sushmita Sen was to be played by TV actress Surveen Chawla. However, this didn't go down too well with Govinda , as he only wanted to work with A-list actresses. Actresses opposite Mimoh and Jaaved Jaffery who are other actors in the movie, are yet to be finalized as Hansika Motwani and Geeta Basra have also walked out. The constant replacement of actors has caused the movie to be delayed by a few months and the set constructed would be used by Dharmesh 's home production.

Darmesh Darshan's day out with juniors

The students of the Whistling Woods International Film School got the opportunity to learn from the knowledge gained by one of the most successful film makers of Bollywood over the years. Darmesh Darshan, the maker of such blockbusters as 'Raja Hindustani' released in 1996 and 'Dhadkan' which hit the theaters in 2000, interacted with the future film makers of the institute. According to Darmesh, direction is all about instinct at the gut level. Talking about his journey as a director, he told that he had to completely rely on his passion for cinema to reach a level to be considered as a good film maker. Advising the students, he told them to make optimum use of the training that they receive in the institute, but to not get so much trained that learning from the life experiences takes a back seat. In Darmesh's opinion, awareness can sometime destroy the gut-level instinct. He also urged the budding film makers to draw inspiration from within their minds and to rely on what touches, excites and hurts them the most. The songs of this senior director's films have always been outstanding and are still remembered. Imparting his perceptions on how the music part of the film should be handled, Darmesh told that he is very particular on the ways in which the songs and background music of his films should shape up and how they should be placed.

Publicity of Dharmesh Darshan's next kick starts

Usually Dharmesh Darshan films are in news throughout their making. His last directorial venture 'Bewafa', which was produced by Boney Kapoor, is a case in point. But in case of 'Aap Ki Khatir' it has been different as he has wrapped up the shooting in quick time and now the film is ready for an already-crowded-August release. A multistarrer, 'Aap Ki Khatir' has Akshaye Khanna and Priyanka Chopra as a lead pair along with Amisha Patel, Dino Morea, Sunil Shetty, Bhumika Singh and Anupam Kher. The film is touted as a family outing with ample doses of romance, emotions and drama. The film is also notable for the fact that is has music by current numero uno Himesh Reshammiya. The first song is already on air that features Akshaye and Priyanka in a fantasy setting with sets centered on nature. As expected, the track is rendered by Reshammiya himself.
