In the power star Puneeth Rajkumar, Ramya and Meera Jasmine starring 'Arasu' Kannada film produced by Dr.Rajkumar banner the two top heroes Darshan and Aditya are making guest appearance. In what occasion they appear on screen in 'Arasu'? That is suspense. The similar suspense was maintained by Dr.Raj camp when Ramesh Aravind acted in their home banner 'Hrudaya Hrudaya' starring Shivarajkumar and Anu Prabhakar. Meanwhile 'Arasu' is progressing fast to appear on silver screen in January 2007 third week. The maximum shooting was held in Farm Made House and Frankfurt city for 'Arasu' by director Mahesh Babu.
Darshan is 'Boss'
Sitting pretty with two top rated box office films of the first half of the year ' 'Gaja' and 'Indra' challenging star Darshan with two films set for release in the coming months ' on August 15 'Arjun' and home banner film 'Navagraha' in October 2008 has signed 'Boss' for producer Ramesh Yadav. Navya Nayar is the heroine and this film will be directed by newcomer Sriraj. Darshan has shot for 75 days for 'Arjun' shooting in Austria, Germany, Bangkok, Mysore and Bangalore. He has four action extravaganzas with four rabble rousers in the film played by Suman, Ajay, Amit and Sharat Lohitashva. He plays honest cop and weeding out corruption with a slogan 'Warn and weed out' as mantra in 'Arjun'. Meera Chopra is his counterpart. Confident looking Darshan speaking to this correspondent said the home banner film 'Navagraha' directed by his brother Dinakar for Toogudeepa Production would be different film of his career. You would see different Darshan and different style of narration of the film he says. Apparently seven sons of Kannada cinema villains ' Darshan, Vinod Prabhakar, Giri Dinesh, Srujan Lokesh, Tarun Sudhir, Dharma Keerhiraj, Nagendra Urs are appearing for the first time is also a record in the Indian film industry. In 'Navagraha' the charming Sharmila Mandre and Varsha are the heroines. A.V.Krishnakumar is the cameraman and V.Harikrishna has scored the music for 'Navagraha'.
Darshan-Sudeep Continue Bonding
The bonding between actors Sudeep and Darshan is reaching new heights. A day after Sudeep called Darshan the number one star in Sandalwood and congratulated him for the success of Bulbul, Darshan replied (on his micro-blogging account) saying, "Thanks Chinna for the wishes for Bulbul movie success. Chinna if you are saying that I am #1 it means it (must be) right only Chinna." Sudeep once again complimented Darshan saying, "You are and I want you to always be buddy....:) cheers..." Darshan then went a bit emotional and replied, "Chinna not only are I #1. You are also #1 Chinna. May our friendship be like this only forever.
Darshan Discharged From Hospital
'Challenging Star' Darshan who was admitted to BGS Global Hospital on Thursday late night for neck sprain has been discharged on Saturday afternoon.The doctors at the hospital has advised a rest of 15 days and after that Darshan can attend the shooting as usual. Speaking before the discharge, Dr Narahari spoke to the media about Darshan's health. 'Darshan had been admitted because of next sprain and other injuries. We have advised him rest for few days and has also advised him to wear a collar around his neck for sometime. Apart from that he is completely healthy and can participate in shooting soon' said the doctor.
Darshan Back in Action
Darshan who was ailing from neck sprain is back to action. The 'Challenging Star' on Friday afternoon dubbed for his role in 'Brindavana'. On Friday Darshan was seen at the Akash Studios in Bangalore. Darshan dubbed for two hours. But as the team insisted that he must rest for a while, Darshan stopped dubbing. Darshan will be back to action continuously from the 15th of August. The day will see his much anticipated film 'Ambarisha' getting launched, after which the actor will fly to Malaysia to complete two songs for 'Brindavana'.
Darshan Fights False News
Sudeep, it is turn of Darshan to deny any rift between them. A newspaper website had reported that since the two are not seen together for sometime now and they are not tweeting about each other they must have parted ways. But it turns out it was false news. After Sudeep, Darshan tweeted a little while ago, "Between me and Sudeep everything is right. The news of us having some misunderstanding is false. Don't make such false news without knowing." So is the spread of news about the rift between them a deliberate attempt to create problems for Kannada film stars and the industry by vested interests? It is to be seen how this controversy develops or dies over the festival holiday.
