As we have repeatedly said, this is a season big audio releases. As film releases get delayed due to exams, audio launches are keeping everyone involved. After Veerabhadra, Pokiri, Ashok and other biggies, the one that will also have its audio release in March is Pournami. The musical fun film of MS Raju is one of the big films of the season (after all, you don't get any producer more successful than M S Raju in recent times). His films have been always musical successes (Okkadu, Varsham, NVNV). Devi Sri Prasad, who is on a low profile, is hoping for a big splash through Pournami. More than anyone else, he needs this one very badly. Pournami stars Prabhas, Trisha, Charmi, Madhu Sharma and is directed by Prabhu Deva.
Devi Sri Prasad to work for Pawan Kalyan's film
Popular music director Devi Sri Prasad, who gave several musical hits like 'Venky, Arya, Varsham, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana and Bommarillu' is all set to provide tunes for a film to be directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by star producer Allu Aravind on the banner of Gita Arts with Pawan Kalyan in the lead. The film was recently launched with puja activities at Film Nagar's Daivasanidhanam. It may be mentioned here that Devi Sri Prasad had already gave a musical hit for Stylish Star Allu Arjun in 'Arya', and for Mega Star for 'Shankar Dada MBBS'. Hope his next film with Power Star would also become a musical sensation.
Devi Sriprasad in Dasavatharam
Since Himesh Reshammiya has started his new project as hero in Bollywood, he could not do the back ground music (BGM) for Kamal Haasan's mega movie Dasavatharam. So Kamal and the director K.S. Ravikumar have decided to go for Devi Sriprasad to do the BGM for the movie. Though Devi Sriprasad is quite busy with Tamil and Telugu, he has immediately accepted to do the BGM for the most awaited after film 2008. For him, working in Kamal's movie is a sentimental choice, as he was inspired by Kamal's 'Salangai Oli' to become a music director. It fact, it is a dream come true for the youngster to do music for Kamal's film. The young musician is awe stuck by Kamal's ten different get ups and amazing acting in the film. Like Himesh, the smart looking Devi Sriprasad too gets offers to act as hero. The music director, who is doing music for the films like Kanthaswamy, Santosh Subramaniam, and the new film featuring Vijay in Prabhu Deva's direction, is not averse to the idea of acting. He is ready to take up the challenge if he is offered a good role.
Devi Sri Prasad’s music for Kamal’s next!
Already it was said that Kamal Haasan’s forthcoming flick ‘Yavarum Kelir’ was renamed as ‘Karunyam’ and it will be produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin and directed by KS Ravikumar. Sources say that it is a triangular love story starring Kamal, Trisha and Madhavan with full length out and out comedy. Now, the latest buzz is that top music director Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the music for Kamal Haasan’s movie for the first time. Earlier, he gave background score for Kamal’s Dasavatharam. Manush Nandan will be introduced as a cameraman for the film.
Devi Prasad to direct Allari Naresh!
The consistent box-office collections hero Allari Naresh seems to be on full swing with hand full of projects. Already he is currently working for three movies – K.Vishwanath’s ‘Shubhapradam’, Vamsi’s ‘Saradaga Kasepu’ and ‘Kathi Kantha Rao’ with EVV Satyanarayana. Now the latest news is that Allari Naresh is once again joining hands with Devi Prasad for yet another comedy entertainer which is not yet titled. Devi Prasad earlier directed Allari Naresh for ‘Blade Babji’. D.S.Rao is producing this movie. The other cast and crew of the film will be announced soon.
Devi Sri Prasad to groove with Pawan Kalyan
Devi Sri Prasad will be seen matching steps with Pawan Kalyan in a song in his upcoming Telugu action-drama "Attarintiki Daaredhi". "Devi will be seen grooving with Pawan sir in a song called 'Ninnu chudagane' in the film. He will only feature for a few seconds. It will be more or less a cameo," the film's spokesperson said. In the past, Devi has made cameo appearances in songs in Chiranjeevi's films such as "Shankar Dada MBBS" and "Shankar Dada Zindabad". In Allu Arjun-starrer Telugu action-drama "Julayi" also, he featured in a special number. This will be the first time that Devi will share screen space with Pawan Kalyan. Mostly known for his tunes in Telugu films such as "Jalsa", "Manmadhudu" and "100% Love", Devi has also composed music for Tamil films such as "Singam" and "Sachin".
