Devi Sri Prasad's hopes

As we have repeatedly said, this is a season big audio releases. As film releases get delayed due to exams, audio launches are keeping everyone involved. After Veerabhadra, Pokiri, Ashok and other biggies, the one that will also have its audio release in March is Pournami. The musical fun film of MS Raju is one of the big films of the season (after all, you don't get any producer more successful than M S Raju in recent times). His films have been always musical successes (Okkadu, Varsham, NVNV). Devi Sri Prasad, who is on a low profile, is hoping for a big splash through Pournami. More than anyone else, he needs this one very badly. Pournami stars Prabhas, Trisha, Charmi, Madhu Sharma and is directed by Prabhu Deva.

Devi Sri Prasad to work for Pawan Kalyan's film

Popular music director Devi Sri Prasad, who gave several musical hits like 'Venky, Arya, Varsham, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana and Bommarillu' is all set to provide tunes for a film to be directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by star producer Allu Aravind on the banner of Gita Arts with Pawan Kalyan in the lead. The film was recently launched with puja activities at Film Nagar's Daivasanidhanam. It may be mentioned here that Devi Sri Prasad had already gave a musical hit for Stylish Star Allu Arjun in 'Arya', and for Mega Star for 'Shankar Dada MBBS'. Hope his next film with Power Star would also become a musical sensation.

Devi Sri Prasad to groove with Pawan Kalyan

Devi Sri Prasad will be seen matching steps with Pawan Kalyan in a song in his upcoming Telugu action-drama "Attarintiki Daaredhi". "Devi will be seen grooving with Pawan sir in a song called 'Ninnu chudagane' in the film. He will only feature for a few seconds. It will be more or less a cameo," the film's spokesperson said. In the past, Devi has made cameo appearances in songs in Chiranjeevi's films such as "Shankar Dada MBBS" and "Shankar Dada Zindabad". In Allu Arjun-starrer Telugu action-drama "Julayi" also, he featured in a special number. This will be the first time that Devi will share screen space with Pawan Kalyan. Mostly known for his tunes in Telugu films such as "Jalsa", "Manmadhudu" and "100% Love", Devi has also composed music for Tamil films such as "Singam" and "Sachin".

Devi Sri Prasad tunes for NTR and Puri Jagan film

NTR and Puri Jagannadh are working together for the second time for a new movie and the film will roll its cameras from July. The makers are finalizing the cast and crew for the movie and Devi Sri Prasad is zeroed in as music composer. This is the second combo film of Puri Jagan and DSP after Iddarammayilatho movie. NTR is pairing up with Kajal Agarwal in the film and Bandla Ganesh is producing it under Parameswara Arts production. NTR is currently wrapping up the shoot schedules of Santhosh Srinivas directed Rabhasa slated for an August release.

Charmme and Devi Sri Prasad are together

Stepped into Telugu cinema with 'Nee Thodu Kavali', Charmme shot to fame as a heroine with 'Sri Anjaneyam' directed by unique director Krishna Vamsi. The former was produced by Bhimaneni Srinivas Rao who gave her the first break. Charmme is now being paired up with young songster Devi Sri Prasad. A gossip was in the industry, Charmme was in love with music director Devi Sri Prasad. The talks faded lately and now it's pristine. Everything leads to the same point and makes you wonder what's the real news is. Alas you are in for a letdown because this news is not a gossip. She is being paired up with Devi Sri Prasad who has left his tunes at home and now flexing his muscles to play the hero. Surprising isn't it! The music director plays the male lead in a movie produced by Rajasekhar on Fame Entertainments banner. And Charmme plays the heroine. Directed by debutant director Pavan, the shooting will start from 24th of November. Honestly, they are being paired up for the movie and no other relationship prevails between them for now.

I am not acting with Charmme Devi Sri Prasad

Young music director Devi Sri Prasad announced to the press here on Thursday, that the news reports stating he is debuting as a hero opposite Charmme are completely false. He denies such reports and says that it is only music that he is in love with. "It is true that, some big production houses have approached me with proposals to act as a hero. But I am currently busy as a music director with prestigious films like 'King' with Nagarjuna, NTR & VV Vinayak's movie, 'Arya-2' with Allu Arjun, 'Current' with Sushanth. I am also busy scoring for the Telugu and Tamil versions of Vikraman's 'Mallanna', 'Villu" (Tamil) with Vijay and few others." 'I am working with determination to make them all hits. It is surprising to hear this news at this juncture. If I really get interested in acting, I would announce it myself. Even if I venture into acting my first preference will always be music,' concludes the songster. The news that was ebbed just yesterday has demised into nothing from this report. It might be a counter action to save the names from those gossips that prevailed previously.
