Dharam Teja's next directorial based on bionics
Filmmaker Dharma Teja, whose latest Telugu offering "Hora Hori" is gearing up for release, will next work on a yet-untitled sci-fi revenge drama in the language, using concepts related to bionics. Bionics is the study of a mechanical system that functions as parts of living organisms. "He's currently doing his research on bionics. He had recently returned New York to understand more about this scientific technology," a source close to Teja told. According to the source, the film will be about an armless young boy, who, with the help of an artificial arm, takes revenge. "For the film's shoot, Teja has already placed an order for a prosthetic arm. He has also started the casting process and like always, will soon start auditioning newcomers for this project," the source added. Known usually to make light-hearted romantic entertainers, this will be Teja's first experimental attempt.
Dharam Tej speaks on Pawan Kalyan-Allu Arjun controversy
In his interview to IndiaGlitz, when asked about his response to the shoutings by Pawan Kalyan's fans during the audio release of 'Thikka', Sai Dharam Tej has said that everybody has a way of dealing with things. Asked as to why he said on the dais that he will shout 'Jai Powerstar, Jai Megastar' slogans along with the fans, Teju told us, "Pawan Kalyan garu is my 'mavayya'. I grew up admiring Megastar and Power Star. I would take pleasure in pitching for them". Post the release of 'Sarrainodu', Allu Arjun waded into an unwarranted social/mainstream media-generated controversy when he used the words 'Cheppanu, brother' as a response to the interruptions by a group of Pawan's fans, who shouted that he speak about Power Star. Post that incident, it became the talk of the town and the Stylish Star, eventually, took it upon himself to put forth the rationale behind he saying those words. In this context, Dharam Tej's perfectly normal response, too, became an object of media commentary, which drew the contrast in the responses of Stylish Star and Teju. Whatever it is, Teju's admiration for his two Mega 'mavayyas' is very clear.
