Veteran actress Radhika has played as Vijay Sethupathi's mom in DharmaDurai which struck gold at the boxoffice. The film has earned raving reviews from the critics. Earlier actor Sarathkumar has tweeted that the team has disrespected Radhika by showing her name in the title card only after a bunch of artists. Now, director Seenu Ramasamy has clarified that, this wasn't intentional and if they have informed the same earlier, we would have highlighted her name with a seperate card.
Seenu Ramasamy to feature in a guest role in Dharma Durai
Director Seenu Ramasamy who is waiting for the release of his upcoming film Dharma Durai starring Vijay Sethupathi, Tamannaah, Aishwarya Rajesh and Srushti Dange in the lead roles would apparently be doing a cameo role in Dharma Durai. The critically acclaimed director would supposedly be seen as a librarian in a village. Yuvan Shankar Raja takes care of the music department while Sukumar handles the camera for this movie produced by RK Suresh. The film is expected to hit the screens soon.
Kannada Filmdom Dharna
In retaliation the Kannada filmdom showed its strength on Friday morning by assembling at 10 am in front of Town Hall on the busy JC Road and unanimously condemned the attributions made by Tamil Nadu chief Minister M.Karunanidhi on the Hogennakal issue and on Kannadigas. The protest would take a serious turn in the coming days it is reliably learnt. Kannada film industry personalities Smt.Parvathamma Rajakumar, V.Ravichandran, Upendra, Srinath, Mukyamantri Chandru, Darshan, Sa.Ra.Govindu, KFCC members, Raghavendra Rajakumar, Dr.Jayamala, Thara, Jaggesh, Puneeth Rajakumar, Prem, Srinivasamurthy, Basanthkumar Patil, golden star Ganesh, Vijay, Ramya, Vijaya Raghavendra, Murali, Ramkumar, sunder Raj, Chindodi Leela, Anu Prabhakar, Rangayana Raghu, C.V.L.Sastry, KSL Swamee, Karisubbu, Umesh, MN Lakshmidevi, Pushpaswamy, directors, technicians and cinema workers took part in the protest dharna. Dr.Rajakumar Abhimanigala Sangha President Sa.Ra.Govindu made it clear that we will not tolerate any injustice. He cautioned the TN Chief Minister to behave properly in his speeches. Smt.Parvathamma Rajakumar said clearly that when it comes to land, water and Kannada language we will not sit quiet. Golden star Ganesh in his address said it is not just a mere support via speech. We have to stand united to protest such injustice to our state. Actor Vijay said he would follow the senior's decisions in this direction. Actor Srinivasamurthy said the observations of senior personality M Karunanidhi was uncalled for. Baasha Dhurabhimana Kannadigaru has in fact lit the fire. MK should have been careful felt Srinivasamurthy. The Jai Karnataka Sangha after garlanding the Kempegowda statue left to Hogennakal via Mysore in 500 vehicles. They are supposed to join former don Muthappa Rai from Bidadi it is learnt.
Vikram Dharma is no more
One of the well-known fight masters of South India Vikram Dharma has expired in Chennai on Wednesday. He died on the way to hospital, following chest pain. His age was 50. His father Nambiar worked as a stunt master to famous Tamil hero MGR. Having taken training in Judo, Dharma made his debut in the film 'Vikram' both as a Villain and stunt master. The film starred Kamal Haasan and Dimple Kapadia. His real name is Dharma. He changed his name to Vikram Dharma after the success of the film 'Vikram'. He worked in all the South Indian languages, including Hindi. For, approximately 300 films he was the fight master. He was the one who composed fights for all the films of Kamal Haasan. 'Guru' directed by Mani Rathnam was his last film. Previously, he worked with Mani Rathnam for films like 'Yuva' and 'Amrutha'. In Telugu, mostly he worked for films starring Balakrishna. The chase sequences in 'Samarasimhareddy', 'Narasimhanaidu' and the fights in 'Indra' have got him good name. Kamal Haasan and others paid rich tributes to the departed soul. The cremation will take place on Thursday afternoon. Fight Masters Association Vijayan said, '?ÂÂ?We have lost a good fight master and South Indian Film Industry will miss him entirely. He has worked with all types of directors and has composed fights for all categories of films'?ÂÂ.

Chiranjeevi’s nephew Dharam Tej is going to be introduced as hero with a film to be directed and produced by YVS Chowdary. YVS Chowdary has an incredible record as a director to introducing new actors. Earlier he introduced Venkat (Sri Seeta Ramula Kalyanam Choodum Raarandi), Aditya (Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo) and Ram (Devdas) as heroes. Now he is set to introduce megastar’s nephew. Dharam Teja's next directorial based on bionics
Filmmaker Dharma Teja, whose latest Telugu offering "Hora Hori" is gearing up for release, will next work on a yet-untitled sci-fi revenge drama in the language, using concepts related to bionics. Bionics is the study of a mechanical system that functions as parts of living organisms. "He's currently doing his research on bionics. He had recently returned New York to understand more about this scientific technology," a source close to Teja told. According to the source, the film will be about an armless young boy, who, with the help of an artificial arm, takes revenge. "For the film's shoot, Teja has already placed an order for a prosthetic arm. He has also started the casting process and like always, will soon start auditioning newcomers for this project," the source added. Known usually to make light-hearted romantic entertainers, this will be Teja's first experimental attempt.
