A posh set for 'Dhrona' in an Island

Dhrona directed by SS Rajamouli's associate J. Karuna Kumar is being shot at exquisite locales and now adding splendor is it's location in an Island situated in the Arabian Sea. Starring Nithin and Priyamani, the film is produced by DS Rao on Saikrishna Productions banner. For 'Dhrona', a pricey set has been constructed on the Island, near Gokarna in Karnataka. The money spent for erecting it might make most people swoon, so it is not being given out. The episode canned in this set comes as a part of Nithin's flash back in the movie. Almost 100 carpenters have worked for this set continuously for 23 days without a break. And scenes were recently filmed in this place from a helicopter. Nithin's last 'Hero' did hunch in collections, so we could expect he will comeback to rectify it as Dhrona.

'Drona' & 'God Tussi Great HO' dates announced

Eros International, the leading company in the Indian media and entertainment sector has announced the release dates of its key forthcoming releases God Tussi Great Ho and Drona. A real world meets fantasy action film; the visual effects filled Drona directed by Goldie Behl stars Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Jaya Bachchan and KK Menon and is sure to thrill audiences ' youngsters and adults alike. August 29th will see the release of action packed thriller Hijack directed by Kunal Shivdasani and starring Shiney Ahuja and Esha Deol. Eros International had recently announced an unprecedented line-up of over 35 releases ' Hindi and Tamil films this year, the largest by an Indian film studio.

'Drona' promos creating excitement

So here it is. The promos of one of the most awaited movies have been released and it is looking just fabulous. The film lovers who have been hearing about this film for a long time have not being cheated. With a catchy and powerful name 'Drona', Abhishek Bachchan doing the role of a superhero and with lots of special effects, this film is definitely going to get a record opening. Eros, who are producing the film have released more than 900 trailers worldwide. The trailer of this action adventure film is designed so perfectly that it creates an urge in the mind of the viewers to ask for more. And it becomes successful in not revealing either the story line or too much of the spectacular action sequences. This has led to the increase of suspense among the movie buffs. Touted as a visual feast for the audience, the film lovers however will have to wait till October 2 to catch up with the tale of the superhero directed by Goldie Behl. Drona comic book to hit on Sep 30

Still a week to go ahead and producers of this flick 'Drona' have geared up with innovative style of promotional activities. Apart from lots of visual promos and contests, Drona had its tie-up with famous TV show Big Boss of Colors Channel where Abhishek Bachchan and Director Goldie Behl appeared. And now, Drona's first comic book will hit the racks of book stores on September 30. The book titled 'The Crowning' is a kind of prologue to the feature film hitting screens on October 2. Introduction of Drona's character and most of these haps in comic book will be included in the film too. The comic book is just 32 pages with glossy papered and is sure to let everyone more entertained. The following series of book will have the character of Sonia (Priyanka Chopra) and Riz Raizada (Kay Kay Menon). Shrishti Arya, producer of this film says that their idea about launching comic books on this film bloomed up while working on merchandise with Turner and added that plans are to publish a series of books after few days. Priced at Rs 50, the book is distributed by Euro Kids and the first edition will have 20,000 copies circulated at hot-stops of Mumbai and other cities. Apart from this, various goodies like clothes, swords, mugs, books, tiffin boxes, e-cards and more would be sold across all the centralized stores'
