Promos of 'Don - The Chase Begins Again' have been on for quite some time and along with the theatrical promo, the two rearranged tracks 'Ye Mera Dil' and now 'Khaike Paan Banaraswala' are fast getting popular too. But now they have direct competition from the original 'Don' as the classic dance track picturised on Helen and Amitabh Bachchan, 'Ye Mera Dil' has been unleashed on the music channels too. With Kareena Kapoor tries to seduce SRK while gyrating in style, Helen proves again the substance she is made of by reappearing again after three decades to create a stunning impact. Take your pick!
The Don Chase Commences on MSN India

DON ahead in the chase
2 months and 13 more days to go and "Don - The Chase Begins Again" already seems to be far ahead in the race; well at least in terms of the kick start of the film's promotion! On this Diwali/Eid there as many as four films that have been lined up for release - 'Jaan-E-Mann', 'Umraao Jaan', 'Familywala' and off course 'Don - The Chase Begins Again'. While 'Familwala' is a relatively unknown flick that has been revived looking at Neeraj Vora's recent 'Phir Hera Pheri' being a super-duper hit, J. P. Dutta's 'Umrao Jaan' is still waiting for some hype to be built up. Meanwhile Sajid Nadiadwala seems to have been playing a waiting game for the promotion of his 'Jaan-E-Maan' to begin. In the meantime producer Ritesh Sidhwani and director Farhan Akhtar have gone ahead and unleashed the 20 seconds promo of the film that has dominated all the music channels this weekend. No wonder the teaser has made an instant impact all over with people wanting for more! This has indeed made Don move ahead in the chase for being the biggest film this Diwali/Eid and now the other three flicks would indeed have some catch up to do to match the might of King Khan!
Don on the run from October
Make way for the hottest criminal, who is going to let himself loose soon… Come October, our King Khan will get into the shoes of Don to set out on a fresh crime… Farhan Akhtar is seriously gearing up to bring his ambitious project, the second sequel of ‘Don’, on the floors. The director-actor is said to be confident about the fresh version, by saying that the project is coming up really well. Currently the team is into heavy pre-production for the movie. “We would start shooting on Oct 1 or Oct 2... That’s the scheduled date to start shooting for now. So we are getting there... slowly but surely,” said Farhan who is very kicked about the sequel and is quite certain to have a great time making it. ‘Don - The Chase Begins’, which released in 2007, had presented a hi-tech and modern version of Amitabh Bachchan’s 1978 remake film ‘Don’. And Farhan is working on to make the forthcoming more zabardast, reviving the former cast and also with lots of fresh characters. Well, now let’s sit back and wait for the ‘Don’ to unfold his new plans…
Bring home the DON
10 weeks after it set fireworks all around on the festive occasion of Diwali/Eid, Shahrukh Khan's recent hit 'Don' is now arriving on original DVDs. Come January 6th and fans & followers of King Khan and Don would be able to relive the magic of this Farhan Akhtar's masala entertainer in the comfort of their living rooms. The thriller arrives in a limited special edition 2 DVD pack that would comprise of exclusive features. Another notable attraction is the special case in which the twin DVD pack arrives. Ever since it's release, 'Don' has done very good business at the box office and has being counted as one of the biggest hits of 2006 with a net business of over 50 crores.
Don DVD hits the market yesterday
Yesterday the international markets were flooded with Don original collectors DVD sets! DON DVD will see a release in USA, Canada, UK, Dubai, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and other countries. Trust UTV to come up with something or the other innovative in launching their products. This time, the DON DVD collectors set comes with a lot of surprises! The first disc will have the feature film and the second disc with a lot of special features like deleted scenes, making of the film, bloopers, clap tracks etc. A booklet about the film with glitzy and never seen before images also forms a part of the DVD kit. You get to see promos of excel entertainment's forthcoming film 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.'. Not only this, Vishal Bhardwaj's Blue Umbrella, releasing under the UTV Classics banner and Metro, a UTV Motion Pictures production, directed by Anurag Basu, also form the line-up of promos in this DVD.
