More news →'Donga Sachinollu' irk Rambha
Rambha seems to be another heroine, who seems to be getting into trouble every now and then, especially when it comes to money matters. The reason why she is peeved now is because her producers have not cleared her payment for the film 'Donga Sachinollu'. She plays the lead along with Raghu Babu and Krishna Bhagwan in this comedy flick. Apparently, Rs 2 lakh payment is still due to her from her producers and after waiting for enough time, she decided to take the matter to the Movie Artists' Association. Though they are yet to consider her case, Rambha is one unhappy girl for being treated like this.
'Dongalaku Donga' for release on Nov. 3
'Dongalaku Donga' directed by Susi Ganesan and produced by Karpathi S Agoram with Jeevan and Sonia Agarwal in the lead is all set for release on November 3. The film has Malavika, Manoj K Jayan and Abbas. Ramani Bharadwaj is holding the baton for music. The producer is planning to release the movie during this week.
Daring thief, Srikanth 'Ranga The Donga'
Ranga, as a conniving thief, is no ordinary conman. He always likes to loot the houses of the police. In Ranga, coming with the subtitle The Donga, Srikanth plays an interesting role of a thief of sorts. Srikanth's role has two hues to it. It is to be seen what they are only after the film releases. In a song currently being picturised, Srikanth is seen in a rugged, madcap look and shakes legs with oh-so-many girls in rural attire. The film is directed by actor-turned-director GV Sudhakar Naidu, who is also jointly producing it with C.R.Manohar Naidu. After 'A Aa E Ee', the film is important for Srikanth, who badly needs a hit. The director debuted who debuted with a film titled Hero, did not meet up with success. He is hoping to register his first success as a filmmaker with this one. Speaking to the media, GV said that Srikanth will be seen as a thief in the film. Ranga, a popular name for the typical rustic thief who earns livelihood by small-time felonies, is a characteristic name that definitely gives us an idea of how the hero's character is going to be in the movie. Let's see if GV and Srikanth register a hit with this one.
