Prince Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu is gearing up for its release on 12th August. Mahesh says that he is all happy with his fans response on the first look teaser of Dookudu. He further informed that his fans are waiting for a biggest hit from him and Dookudu will surely satisfy their wish. The final leg of 'Dookudu' shooting is presently in progress at 'Dhee' house and the unit would shift to Gachibowli to shoot the next few scenes. The shooting of the film would be wound up with this schedule. 'Dookudu' is being directed by Sreenu Vytla and jointly produced by Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopinath Achanta on the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment Pvt Ltd, with Maheshbabu and Samanta in the lead roles.

According to latest reports, Mahesh Babu's Dookudu movie gets a new tag line Daring and Dashing. However, this is not yet confirmed and we are just waiting for the official confirmation. On the flip side, Dookudu shooting is going thick and fast and family scenes on Mahesh Babu, Samantha, Nazar, Prakash Raj, Thanikella Bharani, Sudha, etc are being shot today and this schedule will continue till June 25. The second half scenes are going on in a full swing and majority of the cast participating in shoot for next 4 days at Chiran fort.
Dookudu shoot progressing in Khairatabad
Mahesh Babu’s undershoot film Dookudu is progressing at brisk pace in and around Hyderabad. The makers are planning to wrap the film at the earliest and release the film on 26th August. The post-production works of the film are progressing simultaneously. The current schedule is taking place in Khairatabad, Hyderabad. Samantha is playing the female lead in the film and Prakash Raj as antagonist. Gopi Mohan penned the story, Thaman is composing the music and K V Guhan is cranking the camera. Dookudu is being produced by Achanta Ram, Anil Sunkara and Gopichand on 14 Reels Entertainments banner.

Mahesh Babu's Dookudu movie is currently being wrapped up in Hyderabad and the entire talkie part along with patchwork would be completed by 31st July according to the latest updates. From August 1st, the unit starts canning songs on Mahesh Babu and Samantha and subsequently film the remaining song. Also, the makers will not be releasing any audio teasers before Dookudu audio release, which is scheduled on August 7 according to the insiders. The 24 sheet posters for Dookudu audio is getting ready. So boy! There's a lot of action coming up on Dookudu.
Dookudu Uttharandhra Sold for 2.85 crores
Dookudu movie latest news: Mahesh Babu's Dookudu movie Uttharandhra rights have been sold to Gayatridevi Films for a whopping 2.85Crores. This is a record prince and is tipped to be one of the biggest movies of the year. With this, Dookudu business is completed in all areas and going by the stats (including the satellite rights), the makers of Dookudu have made pretty good amount. Dookudu Guntur has gone for 2.74 crores, Nizam rights for 9 crores, Ceded 5.7 crores, Nellore 1.3 crores, Karnataka for 2.1 crores and now Uttharandhra for 2.85 crores and 5.5 crores satellite rights. Mind you, there's also overseas rights. So are Dookudu producers safe? The movie's currently undergoing shooting in State Art Gallery at Madhapur.
Dookudu Releasing in Jharkhand
Prince Mahesh Babu's Dookudu movie is releasing in Jharkhamd state. Now this is a dubious distinction as Dookudu becomes the first ever Telugu movie to be released in Jharkhand. After foraying into the neighboring states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Orissa, now Telugu movie makers are eying Jharkhand and other far states. Wonder how could the makers spot about the revenue generating potential there. Away from the release, Dookudu movie would wrap up the shooting by today and the unit is ready to break the pumpkin (Gummadikaya). The unit sources say that this is one of the memorable projects they have ever worked on and spending time with super star Mahesh Babu has been really great. Dookudu release date has already been announced as September 23.
