Sanjay Khanduri, director of 'Ek Chalis Ki Last Local', got married in a small yet exquisite event in New Delhi this 21st November. The girl's name is Prabhmit who is fondly called Ashu by her friends and family. She is an Electronics Engineer and works with one of the leading MNCs in Delhi NCR. The marriage was first done in Gurudwara and later in a temple. For the reception, held again in Delhi, the newly married couple came down from a swanky white S class Mercedes. On questioned about the marriage, Sanjay said, "It's more of an arranged marriage as both our families knew each other from a long time. I wanted marriage to be a quite and a personal affair, so very few selected people were invited." Well, it's good that you have caught your life's 'local' Mr Khanduri. Our wishes are with you!
Mumbai trains could be painted for EK CHALIS KI LAST LOCAL
If you stay in Mumbai and travel by local trains there, chances are that you would be having one 'colorful' experience soon! Courtesy, Sanjay Khanduri! In a unique promotional strategy and an intense marketing drive, there are speculations that some of the trains at handpicked railway routes may be painted with the promotional material of Abhay Deol-Neha Dhupia starrer EK CHALIS KI LAST LOCAL. Is that true? "That's right", says debutant director Khanduri, "We are toying with the idea of painting the trains and are currently looking at options while getting the right permissions. Since the film revolves around a missed train and has a local train forming the backdrop of the film, as is obvious through the film's title, we thought that it would be a good idea to use this forum for the promotion of the film." "Also, since the film is based in Mumbai and the subject would come quite naturally to the Mumbaikars, we are looking at going all out with the buzz and hype in the city", he adds, "There is a certain flavor that the city of Mumbai brings, hence it is imperative that when a subject revolves around a missed local train, we make the audience aware about what they are going to get from the film." So when does that happen? "The film is coming on April 20th so a few days before that we should be having the permissions in place while the painters do their job. Rest assured, you would be enjoying yourself with one colorful ride the next time you board a local in Mumbai," he signs off!

'Bas Ek Pal' music publicity back with a vigor
In probably the first ever initiative of its kind, publicity of a film soundtrack has been resumed with a renewed vigor. So what's special? Well, the film came and went a couple of months back but the music is still selling like hot cakes. And that has prompted the music company to devise a new sales strategy of the album and place it in the market once again. We are talking about the film 'Bas Ek Pal', the music of which can be counted as one of the best ever for the current year. While Mithoon composed songs like 'Tere Bin' and title song 'Bas Ek Pal' have become a rage over the months, what cannot be discounted is the fact that songs like 'Zindagi Hosh Mein', 'Ashq Bhi' and 'Dheemey Dheemey' that have been composed by Vivek Philip have been priceless gems too. To promote the album further and flood the songs on music channels, new music videos for the film have been created while roping in singer K.K. to face the camera. No wonder the album continues to stay in the Top-5 of the charts even till date. Way to go!
