Pawan Kalyan Helps To Bring Back A Great Telugu Book 'Adhunika Mahabharatam'

‘Adhunika Mahabharatam’ is considered as most influential book written by Gunturu Seshendra Sarma, one of the greatest poets in Telugu literature. Seshendra Sarma, who passed away few years ago, was fierce nationalist and came to be known as poet-scholar. His book ‘Adhunika Mahabharatam’ ran out of prints for many years. No publishing company came forward to print it again. Recently Pawan Kalyan, a fan of Sarma’s poetry, came to know that the poet’s son Satyaki is finding hard to bring out this book. Powerstar immediately called him up and gave a cheque to Satyaki to reprint the book. Now the book has come out in the market with beautiful cover. Entire cost for this book’s production is funded by Pawan Kalyan. “Late NTR made Vishwanatha Satyanarayana’s book ‘Ekaveera’ into a movie out of his respect for his guru. Now, Pawan Kalyan who has been mentioning my father’s poems in speeches has created a new history by bringing out this book,” Satyaki wrote in preface of this book. Pawan Kalyan also wrote in a letter that was published in the book that he was first introduced to Seshendra Shrama’s poetry by his Trivikram Srinivas.
