Though the idea of suing is quite common in the western countries, it is fast catching up in India too. A similar case has found its way in Wayanad in Kerala, when a consumer named Chaathu has lodged a complaint against Mammootty for cheating. The issue is regarding the Indulekha White soap advertisement featuring Mammootty. The complaint is that he has not delivered what he promised. In the ad he says, to enhance beauty, use Induleksha and beauty will come to your doorsteps. Chaathu has demanded 50,000 rs as compensation. Mammootty and product representatives have been asked to stand trial.
New face opposite Mega Star in 'Shankar Dada Zindabad'
Shooting of 'Shankar Dada Zindabad' directed by Prabhudeva and produced by Gemini Kiran and Ravishankar on the banner of Gemini Film Circuits with Padma Bhushan, Mega Star, Dr Chiranjeevi in the lead would resume from this week in Annapurna Studios of Hyderabad. A huge set is being erected for the purpose in Annapurna Studios. Selection of heroine is yet to be made and it is reliably learnt that a new face is likely to be introduced as heroine. However, the names of Anushka and Nayanatara are also under consideration. Srikanth is playing an important role, while Sada is also doing a main role. Devisri Prasad is scoring music for the movie. It is well aware that the film is the remake of a successful Bollywood film 'Lage Raho Munnabhai'. Paruchuri brothers are providing dialogues for the movie, while Pawan Kalyan is also playing an important role in the flick. After completing all the formalities, the film is likely to be released in July.
RGV launches new face in GO
Ram Gopal Verma has been India's foremost star maker in the current generation. Not just actors but RGV has made way for the career of numerous technicians as well to be launched in a fine way. While his 'Darna Zaroori Hai' is trying to fight it out at the box office, the buzz has already started building up for his upcoming actioner that has been titled simply "GO". The film marks the debut of the latest hero coming from RGV's Factory - GAUTAM. In addition, the film is directed by a newcomer as well who goes by the name of Manish Srivastav. An action packed love story, the film incidentally has its heroine to be the senior most (if we can call it that way!) i.e. Nisha Kothari who has earlier worked with RGV in 'Sarkar', 'James' and 'Darna Zaroori Hai'.
Vikas Kalantari is the face of 'Belmonte'
With not much happening on the Bollywood front, young Vikas Kalantri is now trying his luck with modeling. He is currently endorsing BELMONTE range of formal dress material and has modeled for the current publicity campaign. His last release was 'Kathputli' which sunk without a trace. Prior to this he has appeared in number of flicks with only two of them [Nayee Padosan, Tauba Tauba] making some moolah for its makers. Apart from that, each of his films like 'Pyaar Zindagi Hai', 'Dukaan', 'Dil Bechara Pyaar Ka Maara' and 'Jigyaasa' have failed at the box office. He would soon be seeing a re-launch of sorts when K.C. Bokadia kickstarts 'Teri Meherbanian' where he is paired opposite Tanvi Verma. It was Bokadia who had launched him earlier with 'Pyaar Zindagi Hai' where he was seen with Ashima Bhalla.

She may not be ultra glamorous. But she has the skills to deliver a powerful performance. Moreover her innocence has a wide ranging appeal. After 'Vivaah' she is being flooded with offers but she is taking her time in deciding her future course of action. Considering he launched them, all eyes are on to see his new find. Vikram Bhatt, who will now direct debutante Aditya Narayan in a horror flick titled 'Shapit', wants to cast a brand new leading lady opposite him. A source reveals, "Vikram is currently busy auditioning in London as he feels an international face will do justice to the personality and profile of the leading lady in the film. Several names have been put forward. Right now its all very hush-hush. Vikram's stationed there for a week to continue his search.
