Ever since Samantha spilled the beans about her love for a Tollywood star and the official revelations that followed from the Akkineni family, fans and Tollywood circles have been curious about the much-discussed love story of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha for the last four months. Now that it's all out in the open, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya are openly talking about their relationship and their marriage, which is due next year. Yesterday, Chay interacted with media to promote his upcoming film, Premam. Apart from the movie, Chay also spoke at length about his relationship with Samantha. Chay revealed a funny incident when the journalists asked him about his dad Nagarjuna's reaction when he first revealed his love for Samantha.Apparently, Nag laughed heartily and told Chay that he already knew about his love for Sam and in turn questioned him how could he think that he didn't know about his feelings all these days. Well, perhaps Nag was just waiting to hear it from Chay to proceed with the wedding formalities. Chay also said that even though he took his time to open up about his love story to his family, his brother Akhil showed more maturity at a young age and daringly confessed to his parents Nag and Amala about his love for Shriya Bhupal.
First of its kind
Shekar Kammula is thrilled. And for obvious reasons. Godavari, his new movie that has been cleared by the Censors with a U certificate, is all set to be premiered on Imax Screen. At a press meet, the film's producer G V G Raju said such a screening would befit the movie as its music and camera work are top quality. Sumanth, the film's hero, was also very excited. It is a different kind of role for him in the movie. 'The music, the feel and the entire script have all been appreciated by those who have seen the rushes', he said. Shekar Kammula said the film would be the perfect and cool treat for blazing summer.
First copy of 'Gayam' is ready
The dubbed version 'Gayam' starring Bharath, and Arya as Heroes is ready with first copy. Originally, made in Tamil as 'Pattiyal', and directed by Vishnuvardhan was a big hit in Tamil Nadu. Producer D.Kishor Babu of Blue Sky Entertainment said, '?ÂÂ?With the first copy of the film ready, after the completion of censorship the film will be released in the third week of July. The reaction to the audio of the film is excellent. Music of Yuvan Shanker Raja is appealing. The film runs in the backdrop of mafia. Heroes Bharath, and Arya have acted with energy, at times overshadowing each other. The direction of Vishnuvardhan is stylish. Primarily, the acting of Bharath is outstanding. It is an action-packed film. The film also has love and sentiment to attract the viewers. We have never compromised on the quality of the film and we have put in every effort to see that the film looks like a straight one'?ÂÂ. Pooja, and Padmapriya are the heroines. Lyrics are by Veturi and Vennalakanti. The story, screenplay and direction are by Vishnuvardhan.
First schedule of 'Allare Allari' ends
The first schedule of 'Allare Allari' directed by Muppalaneni Siva and produced by SK Basheed on the banner of Bajju Art Productions with Venu, 'Allari' Naresh, Parvati Melton and Mallika Kapoor in the lead has come to an end recently. Some key scenes were shot on Venu, Naresh, Parvati, Mallika, Dharmavarapu, Ali, MS Narayana, Telangana Sakuntala, Krishna Bhagavan, Mallikarjuna Rao, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, Raghubabu, Gouthamraju, Duvvasi Mohan, Anant, Giribabu, Ragini and others at various locations including King Koti Hospital, Daiva Sannidhanam at Film Nagar, police station set, Sama Narasimha Reddy Gardens and Annapurna Studios. Over 50 per cent of the talkie part of the film was completed in the first schedule which began on September 4 and continued till September 25. The next schedule is planned from October. Already three songs were recorded under the music direction of Chakri. We were able to complete the first schedule as planned with the active cooperation from all the unit members. Director Muppalaneni Siva says, 'Like my earlier successful film 'Sandade Sandadi' this 'Allare Allari' would also be a big hit. I am quite confident about it. It will be a musical hit film. We are planning to complete the film by the end of November.'
First copy of 'Varakatnam' is ready
A Tamil film 'ABCD' directed by Saravana Subbaiah is being dubbed into Telugu as 'Varakatnam' by Nainala Satyanarayana Murthy. Presented by Nainala Hymavati Sambamurthy the film had completed the DTS work recently and the first copy was ready. Shyam and Sneha are playing the lead in the movie. Producer says, 'The performance of Sneha would remain a highlight of the movie. We kept the title as 'Varakatnam' to suit the subject aptly. If anybody stopped taking dowry after watching the film, we feel that our effort had achieved the anticipated result.' Dialogue writer Bose says, 'It has become a common practice that the girls who were married by paying a huge dowry, were facing harassment from their in-laws and at times, the girls were either killed or forced to commit suicide. How far it is justified? Our film would debate all these issues in detail.'
First Frame Entertainment film in final schedule
The final schedule of a film directed by Radhakrishna and produced by Jagarlamudi Saibabu on the banner of First Frame Entertainment with Naresh, Sarwanand and Kamalini Mukherjee in the lead, is in progress at Hyderabad. The last schedule would continue till September 10. Three songs scripted by Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry are yet to be canned on Naresh, Sarwanand and Kamalini Mukherjee. Some important scenes involving Brahmanandam and Abhishek are also to be shot. It is the story of two youth who vie to win the love of a girl called Janaki The film also has several other elements like suspense, comedy, action and sentiment besides love thread. The film also has Swetha Agaral, LB Sriram, Giribabu, MS Narayana, Vijayachander and others in the cast.
