Fox Star Studios, a joint venture between Twentieth Century Fox and Star, has announced it will co-produce “Dum Maaro Dum”, director Rohan Sippy and actor Abhishek Bachchan’s third movie together. “We are committed to working with the best talent in the business and are delighted to be working with the winning pair of Rohan and Abhishek on ‘Dum Maaro Dum’. It’s an amazing script that we are all very excited about. It’s going to be a film to watch out for in 2010,” Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios India, said in a statement. Ramesh Sippy, the co-producer of the movie, also echoed similar sentiments. “We are extremely excited to partner on our next project with people who are like minded and have a vision to take the film places,” said Sippy. “Dum Maaro Dum” reunites Rohan Sippy and Abhishek after “Kuch Naa Kaho” and “Bluffmaster”. “I am happy to team up yet again with Abhishek, who is a marvelous actor, and together we promise to provide edge of the seat excitement to audiences,” said Rohan Sippy. An action-thriller, the film races through India’s largest tourist destination Goa. It also stars Bipasha Basu, Aditya Panscholi, Pratiek Babbar and Telugu star Rana Daggubati, who will make his Bollywood debut.
Sajid Nadiadwala ties up with Fox Studios
India's prestigious Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt Ltd. became the first Indian production company with an office at Fox Studios for 'Heyy Babyy' being extensively shot in Australia. The film is being supported by NSW Tourism and NSW Government along with NSW Film & Television Office. 'Heyy Babyy' is the biggest multi starrer Bollywood film to ever come to Australia. We have been the home to many highly successful US films and now welcome our first Bollywood film to the lot. Australian government and private agencies have been actively pursuing more trade and relations with Bollywood and 'Heyy Babby' is one of the biggest results of results of this drive. Sunny-Arjun-Udita-Sagarika for FOX
Zee Motion Pictures along with Rohit Kumar's maiden venture FOX took off on 5th May, with its 1st schedule on various locations in Mumbai. The film is directed by Deepak Tijori and stars Sunny Deol, Arjun Rampal, Sagarika Ghatge, Udita Goswami and debutante Vipul Gupta.
Sizzling Item Song Shot For 'Fox'
A groovy item song titled as "Sexy Kudiye" for the forthcoming thriller film 'Fox' was shot at Madh Island. Punjabi pop singer Mika is the lead vocalist of the song. Actors Arjun Rampal, Udita Goswami and Sagarika are not only doing important roles in the movie and appearing in the hot item song but also have tried out their crooning abilities by supporting Mika. The star vocalist will be seen for a short time in the song. The choreography of the song written by Sandeep Nath was done by Rajiv Goswami. Sunny Deol and Vipul Gupta are also doing significant roles in 'Fox'. While the story and screenplay of the movie has been written by the director, Kamal Pandey has written the dialogues and Kumar Villas did the duties of the art director.
Deal signed between Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Fox STAR Studios

The fantasy movie will be supported by a team of top visual effects directors from Hollywood and will be supervised by Fox's multiple award-winning in-house effects team. Commenting on the new association with international companies, Vipul Amrutlal Shah said that the deal with Fox STAR Studios will give him the opportunity to develop innovative concepts and work with the best talent to create films that will appeal to the film lovers around the world. He also added that these kinds of associations are the future of Indian cinema and the Indian film makers should team up with the best technical and creative talent from around the globe while yet keeping the Indian soul in the films. The main reason for more companies looking towards the Indian film Industries is due to the expectation that Indian film industry will double in size over next five years. That is from $2.4 billion in 2007 to $4.4 billion in 2012.
Bang Bang VFX to be done at LA's Fox Studios
Filmmaker Siddarth Anand, who is busy with his film "Bang Bang", will be flying to Los Angeles to work on the visual effects of the action scenes. "It is a breathtaking action sequence whose VFX is being done at the Fox Studios in Los Angeles. Sid Anand would be traveling there for 5-6 days to oversee the process. The best VFX guys who have worked on the biggest Fox Films are going to work on this," a source said Tuesday.
