More news →'Friends Colony' to inspire youth
DTS mixing works are in progress for 'Friends Colony' directed by Achana Srinivas, presented by Bellamkonda Sivakumari and produced by U Venkat Rao on the banner Sai Vamsy Creations with Anil and Poonam Singar in the lead, with Posani Krishnamurali in a key role. Producer says, 'We would like to give a message to the youth through our film that there is nothing impossible for the youth. Bombay Bhole scored fantastic music and the audio which was released into the market is getting a positive response. Especially the song rendered by Keeravani, 'Manchukanna Tellanaina Sneham Raa'' is getting very good response. We are planning to release the film as soon as possible.'
Friends to share screen again
Sneha counts Jagapathi Babu as one of her friends. A few months back when she was head-deep in controversies in her home State Tamil Nadu, it was Jagapathi Babu who she had sought the help to bail her out. Naturally, the two are good friends and enjoy good vibes. And naturally, they are being cast again for a film. Jagapathi is going through a rough patch in his career. After Pandhem, a couple years ago, he has not had any big hits. So he needs one to stabilize his tottering career. So when writer Madan is making his debut as a director, Jagapathi quickly signed on the movie. There was some indecision on who play the heroine's role. After some discussion, the unanimous choice was Sneha. The two friends now get to act together again. Madan had previoulsy caught the eye with Aa Naluguru. The new film has been named Pellaina Kottallo.
Quick Flick From 'My friends Creations'
Rajasekhar, who worked as Assistant Director for the films 'Aithe ','Amma Cheppindi' movies and 'Amrutham', 'Nana' under Just Yellow banner tele-serials, now taken the charge of direction for the quick flick from My Friends Creations. The story revolves around software culture with nine characters which comprise with four heros and 3 heroines. Inaugural Pooja of the film took place a week back with the presence of Urmila Gunnam. Speaking on the occasion he said that with the help of his friends who reside at US, he is doing the movie. This movie is planned to be released at the end of September.
'Ankith Pallavi & Friends' cleared with censor
The maiden venture of director Hari Eleti which is produced by Kishore Ganji and Raghu on the Inno Vision Cinema banner, received a clean censorship certification of 'U', without any cut. The running time of the movie is two hours and fifteen minutes. The release of the movie is scheduled across the world, including USA, on 5th September with 35 prints. Nikhil who has become famous with the movie 'Happy Days' is the Hero and Megha Burman (Bru Coffee Ad appearance) as a debut is paired with him for the movie. Music is composed by Vinu Thomas is well received. A graduate from Pune Film Institute is taking over her first assignment as cinematographer. Editing is taken care of Marthand K Venkatesh for the movie.
Charmme and Sumanth are now friends
No, we are not talking of a Telugu remake of the sitcom Friends here. The latest pals in the tinsel ville are Charmme and Sumanth. Sumanth is one friendly star, who is seen pubbing with all his heroines. He was good friends with Kamalini Mukherjee. Then, it was the turn of Kajal. Now, we hear that Charmme is his latest pal and they both have been spotted partying hard all over the city. Charmme is busy right now shooting for an item song for the film Bhale Dongalu.
'Three' the story of three friends
The title of the film 'Three' itself denotes that it is the story of three individuals. Rajiv Kanakala, Rishi and Santichandra played the three roles. Director of the film Sekhar Suri says, 'This film would be quite contrast to my earlier film 'A Film By Aravind'. That film remained a trendsetter during those days. It will not be thrilling if we do similar subjects again and again. Hence, I chose a very different subject for my latest film 'Three'. In fact, it is a real life incident that occurred in my friend's life. Moreover, the film had the Hollywood technology and I am confident that the film would thrill the Telugu audiences.' Producers Phani Raj and GS Babu say, 'Presently post-production works are in progress.' Urvasi Sarma is playing the heroine, while Vijay Kurakula is giving tunes to the songs. Ravali, Ranganath, Harshavardhan and Benarjee are in the cast.
