Jagapathi Babu, Vimala Raman starrer ‘Gaayam 2’ is currently progressing at a brisk pace. The movie is a sequel to RGV’s block-buster hit action film, ‘Gaayam’. The latest news is that the film’s official web site was launched yesterday in an event held at Live Sports Pub, Hyderabad. The movie website was officially launched by hero Jagapathi Babu and Kota Srinivasa Rao. It was also attended by director Praveen Sri, Bharath Chowdaryand many others. Director Praveen Sri said “I would like to thank Jagapathi Babu for inspiring me to do this film”. Kota Srinivasa Rao said, “Everybody knew that Gayam film is a big hit and I will watch this movie even now when it is screened on TV. I would like to express my gratitude to Praveen Sri for making sequel to Gayam in a realistic manner according to the present situations”. It is being presented by Ram Gopal Varma and is being directed by Praveen Sri and is being produced by Dr.Dharmakartha under the banner, ‘Kartha Creations’. The film has music by Ilayaraja who had scored for its prequel too. Lyrics are penned by Bhaskar Bhatla, Anantha Sriram, Vanamali and Kaluva Krishna Sai. Gandham Nagraju has penned the dialogues; Anil Bhandari handled the cinematography and Praaveen is the editor of the film.
Jagapathi’s ‘Gaayam 2’ audio launched!
The audio of Jagapathi Babu, Vimala Raman starrer ‘Gaayam 2’ was launched at TV 9 Studio at Hyderabad on 27th August. Ravi Prakash, CEO of TV9 has released the audio in the presence of Jagapathi Babu, Vimala Raman and Praveen Sri. The movie is a sequel to RGV’s block-buster hit action film, Gaayam. It is being presented by Ram Gopal Varma, and is being directed by Praveen Sri and is being produced by Dr.Dharmakartha under the banner, ‘Kartha Creations’. 'Gamyam' on Feb 29
Kamilini Mukherjee, Sarvanand and Naresh play the lead roles in 'Gamyam'. As the title suggests, the film is about the three characters and their aspirations and how they achieve them. The film is being made under the First Frame Entertainments banner and Radhakrishna is being introduced as the director with it. Jagarlamudi Saibabu and Satyam are producing the film.
'Gamyam' is a triangle love story
It's their second film together. Titled 'Gamyam', Naresh and Kamalini Mukherjee will be seen in it after 'Pellaindi Kaani'. This film is a triangular love story and has Sarvanand playing the other man who is in love with the heroine. The film is currently being wrapped up rapidly for release. Though no date has been confirmed yet, it will soon be announced, says Radhakrishna. The film also has Sweta Agarwal, Giri Babu, Brahmanandam among others.
'Gamyam' to release on Feb 8
Sarvanand and Naresh are out on a journey to track down Sarvanand's girl friend, played by Kamalini Mukherjee. How they find her and what all they do to track her down is what Gamyam is all about, say the makers. The film is being directed by Radhakrishna Gagarlamudi, whose father Saibaba Jagarlamudi is producing the film. E S Murthy and Anil have jointly composed the music for the film. Naresh plays a very interesting role in it. The release date of the film has been set for February 8.
'Gamyam' team celebrates Kamalinis birthday
The location was Liquids. Kamilini was dressed in black and was all smiles as the cast and crew of her film 'Gamyam' came in to wish her. But it was not just her. Her co-star Saarwanand too celebrated his birthday on March 6. So they decided to have one party so the guests wouldn't have to split up. In came, director Krish, Allari Naresh, Ravi Teja among others to wish the duo. With their film getting rave reviews, it was indeed a double whammy for all of them.
