The shooting of a Hindi film directed by Murugadas and produced by Allu Aravind on the banner of Gita Arts with Bollywood hero Amir Khan in the lead was launched in Mumbai recently. It may be mentioned here that the popular Tamil film 'Gajini' with Surya as hero was dubbed into Telugu by Allu Aravind on the same name and was proved a blockbuster. The film is now being remade in Hindi with Amir Khan as hero with the same director. Speaking on the occasion, Allu Aravind says, 'Earlier I had produced like 'Pratibandh and Aaj Ka Goondaraj' in Hindi and they were big hits. I am sure that this film would also be a big hit in Hindi. Asin is being introduced to Bollywood through this film. Noted music director AR Rehman will score music for the movie.' Padma Bhushan, Mega Star, Dr Chiranjeevi gave the clap for the muhurat shot. Amir Khan, Allu Aravind, Chiranjeevi, Surya, Murugadas and others participated in the press briefing.
Gajini shooting in progress
After becoming super hits in Tamil and Telugu, 'Gajani' soon will be trying its luck in Bollywood too. Down south some scenes for the B-town version are being completed at Ramoji Film City. If it was the dubbed version of the original Tamil film directed by A.R.Murugadas starring Suriya that became a super hit in Tollywood, in its B-Town version Amir Khan is the main man. Although Amir Khan nowadays is seen around with a similar hairstyle that Suriya had in the Tamil Version, it's been said that some changes have been made in the story of the film to suit the tastes of the Hindi viewers. A.R.Murugadas is directing the Hindi version too and Asin as the heroine also tries to get a good Bollywood opening. Perfectionist Amir Khan does not take up a project without thinking. But there have been instances of widely anticipated movies rejected by the audience too. Let's see after conquering Tamil and Telugu hearts, will 'Gajini' be able to hit its target in Bollywood.
'Gajibiji' shooting in progress
The shooting of 'Gajibiji' directed and produced by senior director K Vasu on the banner of Gayatri Arts with Ali, Venu in the lead is in brisk progress. Director cum producer Vasu says, 'This is 43rd film in my career as director. Almost all the comedians of the Telugu film industry are working in this movie. We prepared the subject with a theme ' Anything could be achieved not with revenge but with love. Almost half of the film had completed its shooting while the final schedule is in progress. Both Ali and Venumadhav are playing different characters in this movie. The film would be quite entertaining and could give a two and a half hour relief to the audiences.' Kota Srinivasa Rao, Brahmanandam, MS Narayana, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, AVS, Raghubabu, Krishna Bhagawan, Maharshi, Jeeva, Costumes Krishna, M Balaiah, Ahuthi Prasad and others are in the cast. Dialogues are by Satyanand, music is by Vandemataram Srinivas, cinematography is by Lokeswara Rao, editing is by V Nagireddy, while M Parthasarathy is the executive producer.
Gajibiji' completes talkie part
The talkie part of 'Gajibiji' directed and produced by K Vasu on the banner of Gayatri Arts with Ali, Venumadhav as heroes. You can imagine the concept of be the film by reading the title itself. As the heroes of the film ' Ali and Venumadhav ' were popular comedians you come to a conclusion that it is a total entertainer. Moreover, director cum producer K Vasu is known for dishing out very good comedy flicks. The film had completed the talkie part and the unit is now leaving for abroad to can songs from June 10. Post-production works are also in progress simultaneously.
Gajibiji to be full of comic capers
K Vasu is directing this comedy with Ali and Venu Madhav in the lead. Vasu had made the hit film Gopalaraogari Ammayi a couple of decades back. Now, he hopes that the film will do well, given the cast and the hilarious storyline. The re-recording process is currently on and it is expected to be complete by the month end. The film's release hasn't been finalized yet. Other well-known comedians like Sunil and Uttej too are part of the cast. The romantic pair is played by Farzana and Yashwant. The film's music has been composed by Vandemataram Srinivas.

Directed and produced by K Vasu on the banner of Gayatri Arts, 'Gajibiji' with Yashwant and Farjana as hero and heroine, Ali and Venumadhav in the lead roles, is all set to hit screen on August 8. The producer-cum-director says, 'We brought out the movie as a complete comedy film. I worked for over 43 films as director, but I felt it as if it is a fresh movie.Everyone is busy with their day-to-day work and is missing entertainment. This film would give such people a good relief. Almost all the comedians in the Telugu film industry played in this movie. The theme of the film is 'Nothing could be achieved with vengeance but anything is possible with love. The film, which is a complete comedy entertainer, would attract all classes of audiences.' Story and dialogues are by Satyanand, music is by Vandemataram Srinivas, camera is by B Lokeswara Rao, editing is by Nagireddy, while art is by Mohan Talluri.
