This one's likely to be a visual delight - dancing ace Prabhudheva and actor Shahid Kapoor will groove together for the first time for "Rambo Rajkumar" in a song called "Gandi baat". They are excited. Prabhudheva, who is directing the movie, said he is very "excited" to perform alongside Shahid, who in his opinion is one of Bollywood's most talented performers. "I'm very excited about the song and Shahid and I are already rehearsing for it. It's a fun and peppy track," he said in a statement. Shahid said he is "really looking forward to doing a full dance song with Prabhu sir. His style is very new for me, so it's a challenge. But I am loving it!" The song, composed by Pritam, will be shot in a bar setting. Rehearsals for the number are in process. Producer Viki Rajani says: "'Gandi baat' will be well remembered as we have two of the biggest and best dancers matching steps to a peppy track for the very first time." The song is "high on tempo" keeping in mind the energy that Prabhudheva and Shahid are capable of, Pritam said in a statement. He is "extremely confident that they will take 'Gandi baat' notches higher”. The movie will hit screens Nov 29.
'Gandhi My Father' does the Job in Cannes
All these years Anil Kapoor didn't bother to attend the Cannes Film Festival and when he did visit the most famous film festival this year, there was a purpose behind it. He was there as a producer of his maiden production venture 'Gandhi My Father' which although can't be termed as a blockbuster or a super hit was well received and was a bold attempt in bringing out the odd relationship of Mahtma Gandhi with his eldest son Harilal Gandhi who always thought that it is his greatest disadvantage being born as Bapu's son. Anil Kapoor now really can be proud of his decision to follow his mind and make a film about the relatively unknown relationship of Mahatma and his son as the rights for releasing the movie in the U.S. have been bought over by the Lionsgate studio in Hollywood. The deal was made between Eros International, the company which released the movie in India and Lionsgate studio. The film directed by the theatre director Feroz Abbas Khan featured Darshan Zariwala as Mahtama Gandhi and Akshaye Khanna as his son Harilal Gandhi. It was released in India in the year 2007. The star who is often called as the ultimate survivor in Bollywood might have not expected 'Gandhi My Father' to get Lionsgate studio's attention in Cannes. But now Anil, as your film is getting ready to face the international audience, Lot more recognitions and unexpected appreciations can come knocking at your door once it hits the theaters in U.S.
Deodhar Gandhi is now BIG BROTHER
Sunny Deol's 'Deodhar Gandhi' has been in the making for years now. The film has suffered its share of problems over the years owing to financial, health and subsequent shooting delay issues. Produced and directed by Guddu Dhanoa, there were even rumors of the film getting shelved in the course of last few years. In fact it was also said around an year back that the film has been renamed to 'Son Of Seetadevi' but that proved to be a different film altogether. Now years after it was launched, the film is finally being readied for release with a new title - 'Big Brother'. The teaser of the film has just been unleashed and it promises a vintage Sunny outing for his fans. A social actioner, 'Hello Brother' has Priyanka Chopra paired opposite Deol with Shahbaaz Khan, Sayaji Shinde and Farida Jalal forming the rest of the star cast.

Munnabhai and the Gandhi connection
While the world is talking about ton loads of money that films like 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna', 'Dhoom-II', 'Don' and other such biggies are expected to make before an eventful 2006 ends, they are forgetting that one of the most interesting sequels (or an episode, as the makers wish to call it) is gearing up for a release this September! The name is 'Munnabhai Lagey Raho'! But this time around Munnabhai and Circuit are not alone as they have one more character for company! Who is HE? Is HE none other than 'Father Of The Nation' GANDHI? That's the impression one gets after having a first look at the film's promo that designs a distinct portrait of Gandhi made of clouds in the sky! If this is so, then how does that happen? Does Munnabhai and Circuit do a time travel or someone like Gandhi [or Gandhi himself] arrives in 2006? Lots of questions! No ready answers! And the makers are not ready to divulge anything about the film's plot! Are you interested now?
