Brahmanandam to emulate Aamir's 'PK' look in 'Garam'
Veteran Telugu comedian Brahmanandam, who has over 1,000 films to his credit, will be seen emulating Aamir Khan's popular look from Hindi blockbuster "PK" in upcoming Telugu film "Garam". "He comes dressed in a skirt with transistor a la Aamir from 'PK'. It's for a small scene in the film. We laughed so much when we shot this scene and I can only imagine how much audiences will enjoy it," a source from the film's unit told. On Sunday night, actor Aadi Pudipeddi released an image of Brahmanandam in Aamir's get-up from "PK", and the photograph has already gone viral. Also starring Adah Sharma, the film is directed by Madan.
First copy of 'Gayam' is ready
The dubbed version 'Gayam' starring Bharath, and Arya as Heroes is ready with first copy. Originally, made in Tamil as 'Pattiyal', and directed by Vishnuvardhan was a big hit in Tamil Nadu. Producer D.Kishor Babu of Blue Sky Entertainment said, '?ÂÂ?With the first copy of the film ready, after the completion of censorship the film will be released in the third week of July. The reaction to the audio of the film is excellent. Music of Yuvan Shanker Raja is appealing. The film runs in the backdrop of mafia. Heroes Bharath, and Arya have acted with energy, at times overshadowing each other. The direction of Vishnuvardhan is stylish. Primarily, the acting of Bharath is outstanding. It is an action-packed film. The film also has love and sentiment to attract the viewers. We have never compromised on the quality of the film and we have put in every effort to see that the film looks like a straight one'?ÂÂ. Pooja, and Padmapriya are the heroines. Lyrics are by Veturi and Vennalakanti. The story, screenplay and direction are by Vishnuvardhan.
RGV & Jagapatibabu comes in 'Gayam II'
Distinguished director Ram Gopal Varma earlier made the sensational hit 'Gayam' starring Jagapati Babu and Urmila Mantondkar in the lead roles. The film created a hype and a reputed image for the hero Jagapatibabu. The latest hit 'Homam' directed by JD Chakravarthy, a former associate and erstwhile pupil of RGV also attained laurels for the actor. Latest buzz is, RGV is planning to make a sequel for 'Gayam', which is said to be a joint venture of Varma's production house One More Thought and an unnamed corporate firm. Praveen, who apprenticed under Puri Jagannath is making his directorial debut with this movie. Sources say that the film is going to be launched in the month of November.

Earlier a film was made with Jagapati babu donning the lead role opposite Urmila who played the heroine. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma the movie titled as 'Gayam' starred Revathi in a prominent role. A familiar fact is that that the film bagged a sensational hit and tweaked the career graph of Jagapati babu to a high state. Shortly a sequel is planned to be made for this former hit which is being presented by Ram Gopal Varma, by a new producer. Latest buzz is, along with Jagapati Babu in the lead, a part of the cast from 'Gayam-I' has been retained for this sequel, including Revathi and Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry. The latest is Bipasha Basu of Bollywood is going to play the heroine for the sequel of 'Gayam'. Praveen Sri, an associate of popular editor Shankar is making his debut as a director with this film. The shooting will begin in the last week of November.
