It is wedding season in Kollywood. After the likes of Suriya and Jyothika, Renuka Menon, Manoj K Bharathy, Dhiya and Arun Vijay, it is now the turn of yesteryear heroine Gayathri Raghuram to tie the wedding knot. Daughter of acclaimed choreographer Raghuram, Gayathri Raghuram, who acted in few Tamil films, will enter the wedlock with a software engineer from USA. Gayathri Raghuram, who had played heroine in movies including Charlie Chaplin and Whistle, will get married this February. Gayathi Raghuram had ventured to USA to study Visual Communications. Suddenly her wedding got fixed and she would get married this February. The actress had stoutly denied taking up movie offers after her wedding.
Gayathri IPS - An audio CD @ Rs. 19.99!
Not able to believe? But you have to, because Sea Records is releasing the music of 'Gayathri IPS' and you can be the owner of a CD for just Rs. 19.99/-. This is a record of sorts because this is the lowest-priced original music CD that you can lay your hands on. The audio cassettes for the same film are sold as 14.99/- and this is the lowest for an original audio cassette ever in the film industry. In Telugu the same film is 'Missamma IPS' and there the original CDs were sold for a record break low of just Rs. 10/- per CD. Around 3.5 lakh CDs were sold in Telugu. This 'Gayathri IPS' features a total of six songs. This film stars Mumaith Khan in the lead role. The music director of this film is Sri Lekha. Ganga, Malathy, Suchitra, Sri Lekha-the music director, Sujith, Achu, and Prabhakar and chorus have rendered the songs for this film. The lyrics for these songs have been penned by Piraisoodan.
Gayathri Raghuram - In her dad's footsteps
Remember Gayathri Raghuram, the daughter of veteran choreographer Raghuram, she ventured to play female lead in several films in the early 2000. However a string of failures forced her to quit acting and enter wedlock. She got married and settled abroad. After a brief interval, she is back in Kollywood to follow her father's footsteps. Gayathri Raghuram is handling choreography for a song in 'Anandhathandavam'. She is flooded with lots of offers besides hitting a dance show in a popular Tamil satellite channel.
Gayathri Jayaram: From big to small
Gayathri Jayaram joins the long list of heroines entering the small screen. She has been roped in to host a chat show in a private satellite channel. The actress, who made a debut in 'Manadai Thirudi Vittai' opposite Prabhudeva, had acted in several films. But unfortunately the movies couldn't do well at the box office and she took to other businesses. After a long gap, she is back to don the grease paint. But, this time for small screen, she is the anchor for a popular show in a Tamil satellite channel.
Gayathri Raghuram follows her dad
Gayathri Raghuram is the daughter of famous choreographer Raghuram. Yet she wanted to try her luck with acting. After acting in a few films as heroine, she has now decided to follow in her dad's footsteps. She has taken up choreography and is reportedly reaping a very rich harvest. Gayathri will be the choreographer for a lot of movies including 'Kandaswamy', 'Yen Ippadi Mayakkinai' and 'Poo', besides a Malayalam film. 'It's a fun job as I've always been a keen dancer,' she explains. Her work in films including 'Jayamkondan' and 'Poi Solla Porom' is sure to fetch her a good name', say observers.
Gayathri Suresh To Play An Important Role In Nivin Pauly-Sidhartha Siva Film!
Gayathri Suresh, the former Miss Kerala winner and the girl who stole our hearts with her performance in the film Jamnapyari, would be doing an important role in Nivin Pauly's next film. The actress would be seen in the role of a nurse in this yet to be titled film which is being directed by Sidhartha Siva. The film which is said to be an entertainer has its script written by the director himself. The film has Nivin Pauly in the role of a student leader. Renowned Tamil actress Aiswarya Rajesh also does an important role in this film. The shooting of the film started on May 25, 2016 in and around areas of Thrissur and the first schedule of the film has got completed. The actress shot to fame with her role in Jamnapyaari, which incidentally was her debut feature film. The film had Kunchacko Boban in the lead role and her role in the film got much noticed. Gayathri Suresh would also be seen in an important role in Sajith Jagadnandan's debut film Ore Mukham which has Dhyan Sreenivasan and Aju Varghese in the lead roles. The film which is said to be a campus thriller has the actress in the role of a college girl. Interestingly, all the three films of which she has been a part of had its main portions shot in locations in and around Thrissur, which is the hometown of the actress.
